I was so excited to see this article! After being interviewed for Part 1 I was really interested in reading more answers from other reviewers. Shout-out to my bestie @Soula who didn't tell me she was going to be part of the article! I was so excited for you. And I totally knew that was the drama you were going to recommend before I even read your answer! XD
@minj99 and @ananyas - thank you so much for the mention as your favorite reviewer. That was humbling and heartwarming to know!
@minj99 - It sounds like we wrote out reviews in a similar style/layout. And I also enjoy rereading my own reviews! LOL! Like you I probably read my own more than anyone else does!
@Richel - I added Bad Kids to my PTW list. I don't really watch Chinese dramas but that was such a passionate endorsement that I may give it a shot sometime! :)
@addicted2dramas - I also love the upvotes and comments and they make my day!
@chinesedramafan - I think my show ratings follow the same thought processes as yours. :)
Lovely article! I enjoyed reading everyone's answers!

I'd still say it's a romance, but it's about choosing love over fear, loving someone unreservedly, living without regrets, how ones perspective can impact one in ways you don't even realize, and how the decisions made can change your fate. There is definitely some healing and self-growth involved from all of the main characters. The FL hates that the other girl with her name was popular and pretty and seemed to have it all so she always felt inferior and in her shadow. But it all came down to perspectives. We don't know what other people are going through in their lives and while the FL was envying the other girl for everything she had that the lead girl didn't....she didn't realize the other girl envied her for things that she didn't have.
I haven't seen 'another miss oh' so I don't really know the plot.. and this plot isn't the most descriptive, so…
The MDL description of Another Miss Oh - (this version is a scene by scene remake so not much difference besides the names/locales): Two women, both named Oh Hae Young, find themselves constantly mixed up in each other’s lives because of their shared name. From confusion over boys and grades in high school to ending up in the same occupation and company as adults, they can't stop running into each other. And then there’s the man in their lives, a man with the ability to see into the future, a man who must decide which of these women he wants in it. Will these two women continue to find their lives entangled with each other? Or will they finally find a way to separate themselves from each other and become their own people?
--this isn't bad but I've never watched a Thai drama before. I contend that AMO is better however. The main actress in the kdrama is a great actress.
I don't generally go for sad endings myself. But it totally depends on the story and how it's done. I never saw anything else but a sad ending coming in Mr. Sunshine. It was unavoidable, and made sense for the story. Hotel Del Luna seemed like a cross between sad/open and made NO sense. The whole drama was flawless until the ending. I don't care for open endings at all. I'd rather they just pick one (preferably happy), but open ending is such a cop-out to me and, I agree with you, more like a sad ending than a happy one.
Usually second male leads1. don't get as much screen time2. don't get as much time with the LF3. are not as handsome…
Jealousy Incarnate - second lead got a great kiss with the FL. Honestly one of the very few times I've had SLS. I was ok in the end with Hwa Shin, but only when I watched it a second time. I was salty over Jung Won the first go around. But your list is pretty spot on. :)
I read a big spoiler about The Last Empress recently :( so I'm pushing it back for now. It is not really a long…
I didn't even originally intend to watch TLE. My friend got me started on it. And it was just a crazy bananas show. I got sucked in even and kept ranting about it, but kept watching. LOL!
