If I to make a list of the slowest and most boring kdrama I've ever watched this would easily top the list.Don't…
1.25x is the furthest I allow myself to go otherwise any other speed I can't seriously focus on it anymore... I understand you π I think with many kdramas it's the thing that the dialogs in general and overall are just s l o w af.... sometimes even when I change the pace it doesn't actually even feel weird, that's how slow they all talk...π About this show in particular, I enjoy the cast and aesthetics and the plot... but It keeps feeling like the story isn't moving at allπ₯²π I always put it on hold then go back to watching one episode then on hold again...π€¦ββοΈ One day, I really would like to complete it tho.
so it's really that much, huh? i keep rethinking whether I should watch it or not, cause it had a real success…
It is as much then.... hmmπ€π And what part does Dong Wook portray, he's one of those creepy psychos too, right? I don't consider this lite information a spoiler yet π
I watched the first episode and maybe itβs because Iβm alone at home, but Iβm scared to death
so it's really that much, huh? i keep rethinking whether I should watch it or not, cause it had a real success and it's one of the legends among kdramas. But i was just never the horror watcher in it's true nature.... I usually avoid these things, but lately my boundaries shifted quite a lot π€£ is it disgusting/graphic or just disturbing...?
One question. WHAT. THE FUCK. HAPPENED. TO. BALE!!!!!!!!
I believe maybe Jinman confronted him since he showed up bloody and apparently injured and tired. Might've had to fight off more killers on the way to him... but would it explain why he's been gone this whole time? Or..... in what time range does the main/present storyline actually happen.... was it a single day? I completely forgot to keep track.
Anyways.... Bale's death and Jinman's final victory would definitely be something us audience needs to see, it's too crucial to end it this way. So my guess is Jinman fought him and if we get next season we'll get the retrospective episode again on what's been happening from the moment of Jinman's memorial onward, simultaneously with the house encompass. But please..... i hope Bale will be gone.
Maybe I wasn't in the mood while watching this cause seems am the only one who thinks it was boring.
So did I. I was under the impression that I'm all alone thinking it's not really that gripping and not a single character there is interesting and captivating β saying it despite my absolutely favorite actor being in cast. The whole premise intrigued me but then I found myself half asleep and not caring at all what will happen next in each episode... Also felt like the plot progressed very randomly and too quickly, I didn't feel tension at all. More like a time-to-kill series proper for turning your brain off, for moments when you just wanna relax.
It's will most probably release in April. they have said that they will try to cut down yoo ah in's part as much…
But it seemed like his role here was bigger and not as much a side-character as Sae Ron in Bloodhounds was... how can they cut out basically a main character.....?
watching Yamada cry made me sob.. this kid is that good!! every time he crys omg
literally whatever role/drama/movie he's in, he's such a good performer when it comes to heartbreaking emotions..... I felt something in me shatter when he cried or when he looked sad/disappointed... I just need to hug him so bad πππβ€
This was an original point of view after years of Godzilla movies and tropes. Of course it must be said, that there were many plotholes, logical inconsistencies and exaggaration in the way how society chose to proceed (an absence of political action for example). HOWEVER, the overall enjoyability and experience from the story binds over. Such good action, tension buildup, escalation, climax..... Oh, and the magnificent OST .... πΆ
The way they handled the impact of Godzilla's emergence on human daily life, how they worked with character's trauma (though some motives and actions might've been predictable) was still a pleasure to watch and a new spark to my heart. π«
Most of all I truly appreciate that my boy Yukiβ€ got the opportunity of such big project which even headed to cinemas, and I've been fortuned enough to watch him on the big screen. I'm immensely grateful he's doing so well. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Oh but of course.... Same here. The criticism is wide from other users, but not everyone can quite constructivelly describe the flaws simply as they are, so I'm glad to see my own chaotic thoughts somewhere actually well organized and well spoken by someone else ππ
I enjoyed this SO MUCH. Are the characters "typical" and especially the main lead, as you'd see in any shΕnen? Yes.Despite that, are the interactions and progress between characters fun? Yes. The plot is pretty simple, but the production, action scenes and characters, even when stereotypical, were lovable to me. Don't forget it's an adaptation of 30 years old material, the show stayed loyal to standard character portrayal own to that time period. And the characters grew on me, they really did.
I'd recommend turning off your demanding-consumer-watcher brain, just forget about everything and simply watch and enjoy. The show is good. It would be better if it was longer, but it's just so fun, simply go with the flow. π
From where I'm looking, most (if not all ) of the problems with this show stem from the weak script and/or direction.…
yes! I didn't know how to put it into words, so many things I felt were off or missing.... but couldn't wrap my mind around it. your points make good sense and sum up how i've been feeling, huge appreciation here π€
you should give it a try! though I agree with most criticism here in comments, I still wouldn't discourage anyone from trying their own shot on this. only because it's not to everyone's taste, it doesn't mean you're not allowed to like it yourself and have your own opinion, and the premise itself is good π
I don't think her acting was good. She had pretty much one expression plastered on her face all the time (eyes…
I found her acting in My Name brilliant, her delivery of emotional outbursts and trauma was perfect β but not only that, all the layers of her character there were understandable. That's why I was in high expectation for this role of hers in the new drama.... And got terribly disappointed. I didn't feel her character whatsoever, I didn't understand her personality (I mean... did she have a personality at all?) and her motives along with the plot were too easy and cheap... Guess what, we turned someone into a "monster".. ..you'll be shocked, it's the mother which FL is looking for! and on top of that..... the monster at the second encounter can magically recognize her and starts protecting her π±π± shocking. Back to the acting though.... It wasn't good. The point is, it's hard to say if it was scripted like that, and the FL really was planned out to be so flat..... or if maybe she'd give us different impression had she been played by a different actress... we'll never know.
