OMYGAWD .. SAME PINCH!!!I couldn't take my eyes off for a moment even - it's my first 2024 straight up BINGE for…
Yes!!!
It was sheer poetry.
That's how I also could relish the end.
Those final evocative scenes of the wafting smoke, the plates of incense being worship fully placed around her bed, him wiping her hands.
That noodle soup scene was one of the most poignant drama moments I've ever watched.. The fact that he smiled and "smelt" it, it's flavours wafting towards him - a man who makes a living with his smell sense -and then walked away leaving it there on the road encased in its box π€π½π€π½π₯π₯π€π½π€π½
PURE HAIKU quality moment!!!
Then that final calling out his name!!!!! It's "intimate" since the whole drama had hinged around so much formality in their interactions maintaining the hierarchy the "rules" of touch and speech and address between the classes and people of status, between nobles and royals and staff.
YESSSSS Baby πβ¨ππ₯π₯π "Call Me By My Name"
( that's the name of an Award winning film with Timothy Chalamer)
ROFL .. You caught the L&P Flu ...Once upon a time people used to catch the Go Soo Flu LOL We've been there ..…
So true. That last bit of her joining the force felt a bit out of sync.
But I tried to rationalize with : she saw how they save lives / wanted to be with ML as close as possible since he did live a dangerous life / she was disqualified as a doctor and anyway would need to retrain in a new job / she wanted to save lives most.

π Go Soo is a TOP KDrama actor of yore .. He became a rage after some of the old school Melo's he did back in the day ..
I was swept away by his superb acting and his captivating (jelly knee) visual π
SO in those days people were said to have the Go Soo Flu π
I had it too after I watched :
~ Piano (2001) ~ Age of Innocence (2002) ~ My Fair Lady (2003) ~ When a Man Loves a Woman (2004) ~ Green Rose (2005) ~ Will is Snow this Christmas (2009) ~ The Flower in Prison (2016)
These were the days of the CLASSIC MELOs. Strong Stories and not afraid to have a lot of angst and complexity of character ..
If you wanna get a TASTE of the FOXY magic of Go Soo I recommend you watch this MOVIE :
LOVE 911
That will give you a clue about why I found him SO SO SO HOTTTT π₯π₯and why folks caught the Go Soo Flu π€§π€§
You will ALSO LOVE LOVE LOVE Han Yoo Ju the FL .. SHE IS SOMETHING .. SASSY - ADORABLE - zero aegyo!! I'd watch her in a show any day.

Buddy you can either make up the show by collecting comments and stringing it into a story to your liking...Or you can watch the show itself and decided for yourself if you wish to continue and watch it or drop it.
As simple as that.
When we were young my brother ( and a few friends also) had this habit of reading the last page of EVERY book they ever picked up to read. π€£π€£π€£π€£
I am the opposite - I stuff my fingers into my ears to not even catch a whiff of what the end is or who does what and who ends up with who.
I like to play along with the show if it is working for me.. Drop it when I feel it's boring me out.
And even when they are together - their teasing banter and fooling around their body language... My Goodness.. I am yet to see a more "real life couple" feel as I did in this.
And I am so happy you felt this way too.
Omygawd me too.
I teared up - choked and a sob escaped.
Was all twisted up inside ππ
Prior to that when I was seeing her keep fiddling with that pouch I was confused wondering what is in it?
IT ONLY came together when she threw it and the bottle broke π©π«π₯Ί
His attendant's anguish expression - OMG
It was sheer poetry.
That's how I also could relish the end.

It was the page turner equivalent of a Drama.
I was all eyes and ears not wanting to miss a single moment glance word action ost...
Just perfect!!
I relate

I'd have love to have seen her and him "mending" - her awake and going about her day and "reciprocating" in full measure.
What happens after needed a proper closure.
The ratings would have gone up to 8 plus
Melo + Romance
Try "When a Man loves a Woman"
Can also start with :
"Will it Snow for Christmas?"
I had loved it so much that I watched it twice ..
I could watch it again.
It's a film .. so you can fit it in any time ;-p
Some of the oldies are classics .. story acting pacing
Agree with you ..

(I think LOVE 911 in still on Viki)
We vibe quite a bit.
She kills it here!!!
IMO her career best!!!!

My Goodness.. I am yet to see a more "real life couple" feel as I did in this.
They are like magnets..and I felt it throughout
And tailor fit with the scenes.
The other thing I loved was the non-fussy hair-dos and her fresh face..
She didn't wear earrings π
