The End will KILL the viewer but just about revive them back with scents .. Thus gave it a 9.0 / 10 and not a 11/10 as I was planning to ; I FELT CHEATED - stabbed and left dying boohoohoo!!
I haven't done a 30 episode STRAIGHT BINGE (with only bathroom breaks) since Empress Ki days I think.
I came here to check out Hong Yao .. He is so HOTTTTT.
I watched EVERYONE LOVES ME (ELM) and he's just a support role .. but he really IS and SHOULD have been the MAIN LEAD in that show .. For me he stole the show and I'd rather have watched the show with him and the FL being the mains .. rather than the current ML who was a pretty faced boy miscast - he'd have done well as an easy going support role .. one of those flower boys that Drama uses sometimes to help the support role females.
And he is this uniquely sensitive actor whose face runs with currents of intractable complex emotions .. his eyebrows are alive as are his eyes of course .. Inimitable. The character of Li Xun was written for him ONLY
also rewatching but wow i feel so uncomfortable by the possible hint that madam lee might have feelings for doctor's…
LOL correct it's not a hint ha ha ha.
But I LOVED the show PRECISELY because it broke away from the conventional plot lines and brought forth such a compelling story and characters .. they each have their complex range of emotion .. and the decisions they make in the drama are what propel the drama forward making it so edge of the seat.
Am I the only one who is getting Flutters over Director Jiang??
I mean I can't stop imagining him in a Drama as the Lead.. Like RIGHT NOW. I'd dump this show and go watch that.
He is SO GOOD at his role. Angry - vulnerable - jealous and his symmetrical face also..
The ML is decent.. But isnt cutting it. Kind of deflated pretty face types and not that great at acting this role (maybe it just my personla wish and not what the director - scriptwriter were aiming for). He's coming across as support role material in a easy going amiable person sort of support character.
That Director Jiang!!! Yummy.
Show hasn't even hinted at him having a love interest.
It'd be sloppy and cringey if drama throws him into one vertex of a triangle later in the show
Anyone watched Penny Pinchers? It's a film but has a sort of similar feel .. also has a brilliant actress and then of course the early days of Song Joong Ki

8.7 maybe a bit low. As other 8.7 drama don't even hold a candle to this. 9.0 should be more appropriate rating for this drama.

I came to check it out after seeing Yang Yang in FOMH..
I guess Jing Boran in in the film version.
I did think I should watch the film rather than the drama .. but I didnt.
There was too much 'gaming' stuff and I couldn't relate to it.
Also one of the reasons that I couldn't watch YAMG and dropped it.
