For me the female bonding part of the story was interesting but not captivating - had strong tones of 'lesbian' attraction (the dialogues were FULL of such innuendos - including the LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT trope of the FL with the SFL) as was the body language in many parts .. It almost seemed that the ML kind of sensed she wasn't into him (sexually) except as a platonic relationship .. and thus kept pondering the short and strange interlude in Japan.
That's what I picked up as the undertones of the drama .. Or what makes sense to me when I think of the trio.
I guess KDrama stays away from explicit lesbian depiction (by govt order) .. And this was the ONLY understated way this could be done. There are several 'confession-like' scenes too with the 'adoring' hearts in eyes look.
I am not at all convinced that this was a simple adoration of the Boss with no 'romantic' element to it. Just that restrictions didn't allow for it.
Yes it's for those who enjoy 'chess' of business moves .. and who understand the financial business world of selling buying companies stock exchanges etc
The story looks interesting, is the romance good and does it have a happy ending?

This one for me was SURE ONE.
I watched it TWICE ..
and she is a top fave actress of mine.
It has such a heart thumping beginning .. superb camerawork .. excellent actors .. and anchored in an engaging business story which gives it meat.
Some of the scenes are SO SO iconic .. the music score lifts it off the ground.
I agree ONE OF THE BEST revenge stories of a revenge gone wrong.
I almost feel like watching it now since I am not finding anything that is grabbing me .. I always return to OLD faves during these times of of Drama "Drought"
Back then after this drama introduced this FL actress to me I checked out Smile You AND Cunning Single Lady .. also Once Again .. enjoyed them all .. CSL also I watched twice.

I did finally at Ep 12 after a speed FFD watch.
After the sweet set up..nothing moved.. There was NO ARC either..
Drama flatlined long ago.. Just that you missed it..somewhere at Ep 5
