Such a relief to have cheerleaders for this challenging and difficult drama that took guts to write and act in... Given what kneejerk judgemental reactions viewers get when a drama doesnt serve up the usual templates of characters and expectations and story line.
I thought I'd be the ONLY person who would be TOTALLY flipping on the brilliant and unique drama that this is 🥂🍷

Recall the SFL (Rose's bestie at work) 'molestation trauma' story? The exploration of her relationship with Rose's brother? The terrible impact it left on her psyche for more than a decade .. The Drama had gone to VERY difficult places in search of the character's arc over the years into the present .. slow and evocative .. Not dull .. not ALL dark .. but very deep and thoughtful ..
Just asking ..
Is TFF a slice of life drama that goes on to explore in similar vein the true breadth of impact it has on this FL and her relationships?
Or is this just a romance drama MOSTLY about cute, sweet chasing of a 'traumatized girl' by a green flag guy who becomes her angel and saviour?
Saviours as heros .. and Victims as trapped and then freed by the saviour is a Drama nectar that seems to have enduring obsession power

I seriously have so little recollection of what this dump of a show was all about.
I LOVED the MDL brief - the sort of story premise that psyched me up.
But but but... It definitely must have been a bad bust cause I have it a 5/10 and made a note that I watched it ONLY cause I enjoyed Shawn Dou in the role and his acting chops. That 5 was all for him and maybe but for JUST the sexy premise.
Terrible script and execution must have made me FFWD so much that I hardly remember the drama.
Doesn't happen often for me.. A less than 7 /10 drama that makes me watch (even on speed dial - and chunk hopping) the full show.
I think I would have preferred the doctor with the main female lead for this drama. While I love the ML, I grew…

The FL is too pallid in character for my taste. I enjoy women with strong spine and assertive in their own way.. As long as it comes off well defined and not wishy-washy.

There are plenty second romance dramas that are deep and meaningful.
