I am wondering now how to best put into words what I saw, felt, thought during and after the drama.
First and foremost I declare : It's NOT an easy one to watch. NOT AT ALL.
So, the frame of mind when you plan to check it is important. Are you ready to step onto a boat that will take you on an unpredictable journey through terrain that will feel familiar or not familiar and no easy way to predict stops and halts.. Or where you will finally be set down. On a day when it's sunny and you are feeling the good winds blowing and adventure whispering in your ears...you can set out, because that is the moment you are at the strongest and most curious and want to freely explore..
There will be moments that glide by effortlessly and you find yourself grinning chuckling or plain amused. And there will be storms and clouds and bad weather...if you trust the boatman (writer - director team and crew on deck) you'll survive.
This might even be your "epiphany drama" - in my mind I call it the "long cinema".. For me it sheds it Drama cover and becomes Cinema.
Before getting back into a LONG day of bingeing 🤞🏽🤞🏽had a few more thoughts and feels I wanted to drop here :
I am googly eyed taking in every expression and nuance and dialogue - not missing even a little bit.
The best dramas work that way. Everything is made with such care.
It will be enjoyed mostly by people who can empathize and accept that humans are complex with conflicting emotions and circumstances and often "moral" is a relative thing; if it's not "breaking the law" it'll be a public and social censure...which can be handled in whichever way the person can manage, which in turn is affected by the person's life script.
What a stunning "in media res" beginning... WOWOWOW.
This is a Cdrama can be used in Film School to teach students about hook - grip - tension - release.
THIS was sitting on the shelf for more than a year I think .. and for some reason I kind of had the bad memories of a few 'pretentious' not that great dramas which were made earlier with such themes .. SO ALTHO it was raved about I wasn't getting into it ..
TODAY for the lack of anything I was clearing up my PTW .. tasting and trashing (dropping spree) Dramas .. when I reached this one ..
AND I think the rest will be history .. (The last time I had such a soaring joy at a well crafted dram in the hands of a veteran director and writer was probably Mr Sunshine).

The maturity of this DRAMA is award worthy .. RIVETTING in the acting that has been delivered here .. the TOPMOST skilled actors ..
The DIRECTOR needs AN AWARD like ALREADY!!!! The Scriptwriter is just WOW!!!
After a LONG time a 'modern' 'mature' 'slice of life' drama that knows how to get serious SEXY SEXY SEXY AND yet keep a light touch ..
I am Ep 5 in and NOT ONE WRONG TWANG in the pace .. rhythm ..
I COMPLETED this DRAMA : overall enjoyed : gave 8/10

Looks very interesting - on Netflix it shows that I watched the first episode. No memory of doing so. Maybe watching will jog my memory.

I felt the actor looked SO OLD for a role where he is supposed to be 36 y.o.🫣 The first few eps were slick but slippery ..
NOW, in this round, I am laughing and enjoying the show inspite of the fact that I wish a different actor was doing his role .. The ML of Strangers Again would be great .. Even the guy from Her Private Life.
FL is SUPERB though .👌🏽
The age didn't match with the characters.
It wasn't quite believable for me that an ML of his age would have such a fangirl club. 🫣 Plus he acted way too aegyo for his age. Often cringey.🤢
It's been used in other dramas also I think.

I ENJOYED the ML most .. and the other leads and actors too
Some of the older dramas have grace and style in directing that is so smooth.
It manages to hook and lift you bang onto the middle of the story ..
