Thank you for the explanation and not being rude. After finishing the last episode and writing this comment, i rewatched the previous episodes and you're right.
This drama is kinda destroying me, especially kirino's character, it's so heartbreaking seeing him having to repress his nature and suffering from gender dysphoria. This is set in the 90's and in a rural area at that so I understand why they would believe that they are gay but this is clearly the story of two transgender girls who lived in the wrong age and wrong place. Anyway, this series deserves to be more known mostly because it tackles a topic that is not common.
Fr, we're in 2024 and ppl still talk sh*t about bl dramas like there's not queer stories too. Sure a lot of bls…
Never said that they are a majority, I just said that there are people like that and since free speech is a human right I'm entitled to criticize what I think is a problematic mentality. That's it, no more no less. I don't understand why you felt the need to respond to me when this being called a queer or bl series, something that I couldn't care less because I don't care about labels, was not even part of my point.

Since you deleted your response I'm replying to you here, hope you don't mind because I don't think you understood my point. I'm not being mad about people calling it queer, like I said I don't care about categories, It's about people looking down on the bls as of they some trash and not another queer genres centered on queer stories and being offended at the thought of others calling it a bl because of that, it's the superiority complex of some people in the comments that is pissing me off, not the discourse itself that could result in interesting exchange of opinions. And again, just because you didn't see anyone acting anti-bl it doesn't mean they don't exist, they do and I've saw it.

No one that YOU saw said anything like that but there's people with that mentality here and outside of this platform. Honestly I know the history of bl quite well as I've been a fan for more than a decade. I still stand by what I said that while they may have their differences in storytelling, bl is still queer media, it's still a media though which are told stories about queer people. I don't care about categories that much but the fact that people seems upset and borderline angry at the mention of this being a bl (which is debatable) is problematic on so many levels. Also like I said this series queer, bl, or whatever you want to call it is amazing and doesn't need people bashing bl series as a praising. (Btw series and movies can have different genres so yes a thriller can be an horror too or have horror elements and so on.)
Everyone and their mother be yapping shits and just saying anything. like what do you mean by *was it meant for…
Fr, we're in 2024 and ppl still talk sh*t about bl dramas like there's not queer stories too. Sure a lot of bls are lighter in tone, and some are just straight up wattpad fic, but there are also more mature ones that tackle serious issues. This series is amazing and deserve all the praise it's getting BUT there's no need to tear down an entire genre just to lift this series up.
On a serious note, what an intense, sweet yet bitter way to kick off the week. It's not just a romance, a comedy, or a tragedy, the genre is life, specifically the life of an ordinary gay man who is navigating life and he's struggling at it. Against the majority of comments, this series was very comforting to me, maybe painful at times but so is life. Also, I loved LOVED the outright queerness of the series, and how real it was in the most carnal sense by showing two men making out, and having sex, it's so freeing and I'm sure it'll be of great help to many queer people to just be unapologetically themselves. A big shout out to the writer, and all the amazing cast and staff for making this series happen!
talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.
