This drama is too funny and unserious so far, it’s amazing.
The kiss was sweet and from then on out it was pure chaos, I can’t complain. With other airing dramas being so melodramatic the addition of spuds, laughter, romance and stupidity is what we need.
So far the most enjoyable character to me is the FL brother, Hwan Gyeong, he’s the definition of unwavering support and he’s funny to say the least. Didn’t like how he wasn’t allowed to show his cooking skills in the competition, as they said he’s been training for 2 years just for this, all for the ML to take over and complete it easily, but I guess that’s the point of a ML.
Along with the FL friend ,Ong Ju, she’s sweet and bubbly and foul mouthed from the looks of it, no complaints from me!
Maybe Ong Ju will have a love interest, which for me I hope is Hwan Gyeong as the trope of falling for your best friend’s younger brother will always be fun to watch. Have to add as of yet I don’t really care for the divorced couple and hope they aren’t the second couple as it’ll be boring.
The SML (Park Gi Se) just rubs me the wrong way if I’m honest, seems nice but when alone he keeps being rude and upfront. When he’s alone he seems to like the FL but when in front of her has very different body language.
Eg when he asked the FL to not tell anyone that they knew/know each other which is disrespectful. His excuse being that he is respected and in a high ranking position.
Have a feeling the SML doesn’t like the ML as the ML is naturally smart and seems robotic in the work he does.
Not sure about the SML ex wife as of yet. Haven’t spoke much just scowled at her ex husband’s weak excuses to shut down a vital laboratory.
Not sure what to think of the FL being fired, as the ML isn’t the type to fire someone out of a romantic rejection so I’m guessing she’s the highest paid or expendable out of all the staff.
Guessing the next episode if going to be the FL buttering up the SML for help or a new job.
Currently this drama is a solid 9/10 for me. Will be a 10/10 if they don’t ruin it with unnecessary tropes and bad writing
A strong start, exseptional performance and production, envoking a full spectrum of emotions! Children acted well…
Not sure what episode you’re on but it’s pretty much guaranteed happy ending considering the leads are shown married and visiting their daughter together. Hope this aids your relief. Although we will have to watch their struggles in the next 12 episodes
They seem to have been together the entire time from what we have watched so far. As in episode 4 they leave their daughters home holding hands and just overall being happy together.

Maybe the old old FL has dementia and the old old ML is still alive but we don’t see him in that scene until episode 16. I wouldn’t mind that as they would have lived their lives until the very end together which is romantic and beautiful.
Amazing drama so far the acting is out of this world and I can’t speak highly enough of it.
IU is as radiant and gorgeous as ever and Bo Gum is as always phenomenal in showing his emotions and that jaw line.
Have a few queries though.
1) The leads, O Ae Sun and Yang Gwan Sik, stay together the entire time? As it feels like they do and in other scenes (so far) it seems like they haven’t been together.
End of episode four the older version of the ML says “I heard you told Geum-Myeong, you'd marry me again if you were asked to.”
Does that mean re-marry or just marry each other again / renew vows for love. (Meaning together through it all or together forever)
2) The leads daughter (played by IU) is the one wearing the suit and having dinner with the lady and dating the man named Yeong-Beom. Fairly certain it’s not the FL but wanna make sure it’s the daughter of the leads. With the daughter was played by a different actor.
3) the older version of the ML seems to have injuries and a metal implant. Guessing this is the story line where the younger ML is heroic.
Haven’t started yet but I’m a big fan of the actor Shin Hyun Seung. Could you tell me the purpose of his character? I know he’s the owner of the guest house but want to know more about his character alive interest, relevance to the story etc
Any hints of a second couple? Anyone give character names if there are any hints
