I am not sure as to what happened with the episodes being reduced. I am seeing some complaints. However, this…
Hasn’t the cutting of episodes also affected the second couple?

Read a few comments saying that they would have been a couple but the drama just ended.

Guessing it looked like they would be a couple? Aka flirting and swoon moments etc? But then the drama ends due to the cutting of episodes

Wait Gi Se has two ex-wives?? I've been skipping his scenes so maybe I missed that?
True. Got confused with the women around him as they all seem to gate him which you can’t blame him for.

Agreed, smiling at his computer all day at his exs while they are thriving and moving on with better men. Maybe he’s the reason there’s a chair facing the bed in hotel rooms

My first PBG drama, It's so awkward... The acting, the pauses At least he cuts that awful hair!
The pausing is perfectly done imo it shows the nervousness and difference between the leads social status

This drama holds a special place in my heart; it's where my drama obsession began.
I watch it every year, sometimes more

This is my all time favourite drama by a mile and I don’t think another drama will top it. The role reversal of the ceo and employee is so fun to watch.

BUT no matter how many times I watch this drama the ML mother still PISSES me off!!

Her only reasons for wanting them to break up consist of:

They aren’t right for each other, she’s rich and ONE person asked for help getting their kid a job.

Like come on lady. GET A GRIP! Your son is happy, in love with a thriving career, but you sit there with that annoying quiet as a mouse voice and ask your child’s entire world and love of his life to leave him FOR NO ACTUAL REASON other than your own selfishness. FUCK ME

All in all the dramas is a work of art and is on my rewatch list yearly.

The other characters also make the show watchable (bar the bitch ML mother) especially the ML friend and FL friend / secretary. Their romance was fun and realistic.

The ML team members were comedic gold too.

Kind of hoped the ML female best friend and brother would get together as that would have been a good watch.

Over all 10/10

Simple and fun to watch. The only real angst being the grandma. Although her redemption was rushed it felt some what natural but also can’t stop thinking about how she treated him for 11 episodes. At least the ML finally got the love from his grandma.

The leads had amazing chemistry so much so I’d love to see them pair in another romance drama. Their kissing scenes were good too! Felt natural to watch and made me think it was an actual couple.

The leads also did a good job portraying their ages and professions. Was skeptical about profession side of things as he didn’t seem like a CEO or director he proved me wrong. In the beginning it was comical as he was using the traits you see in other dramas which have a handsome and domineering CEO at the helm. As it progressed he naturally formed his own way of leading which made the whole character stand out to me.

The age didn’t bother me as I’m a fan of ‘noona’ romances. All be it the age difference wasn’t large or noticeable.

The second leads also did a good job.

Their chemistry was good and their story was entertaining. Glad they resolved that issues by talking and with the drunk confession on the speakers.

The other supporting characters also stood out such as the staff members in the Fl team. Never doubted her and supported her in everything. The comedy and acting was also enjoyable.

The only problem I have with the drama is that 12 episodes was not enough. Loved to have seen more work drama as well as the second leads meeting each others parents etc things like that are something I enjoy in dramas.

Overall a lovely drama with a wonderful ending solid 10/10

He does! Doesn’t he?

I think I might have made a mistake though.

In some scenes the chairwoman said your divorce isn’t final yet so I just guessed the woman next to him was his ex wife guessing that could have been a sister in law who hates him.

The real ex wife being the ML friend. (Girl who hugged Gi Se at the end of the recent episode)

Guessing I was wrong but either way my pints are still valid

I still am wrapping my head around their "status" because maybe it's just a cultural thing for me but usually,…
As a man, if I was perusing a girl I liked I’d want to make things clear. All be it the sexual tension does look really good between the leads.

But in Korea the standard is to confess with the iconic “I like you” or “ 좋아해요”

I hate this cliche if the ex came back and fl have no boundaries with him even when she's mad at him she still…
Also though she wavered when she saw. Gi Se hugging his 1st ex wife.

Which makes no sense. ML or Gi Se. I’m a straight man but I’m choosing the ML. ML might be emotionally confused but he’s always honest and forward

I also don’t like the other male lead. SML to me is the FL brother.

He’s just a smile ball who hurts women.

Hope the angst doesn’t last long

Loving the second lead more than the leads currently. Always a fan of the best friend’s younger brother trope, and the writers have done it well this time, especially making them realistic by making them sexual and confident. They also have great chemistry.

The leads also have good chemistry. Love the teasing from the ML and how much the FL blushes at the smallest actions. Hope to see most scenes like this as they make the drama wholesome.

The other ML, aka Gi Se, is fairly pointless. So far, his character seems to hurt all women around him.

He stole his ex-fiancée’s work and branded it as his own. His first ex-wife seems really nice (Hui Jin) and sweet but divorced for an unknown reason. His next ex-wife gave him his power and work title, then divorced him and hates him. Now he seems to want the FL back.

Most confusing and pointless character ever.

From the preview, the Gi Se character tried to work his way back into the FL life, which is a pain. Just hope she doesn’t keep him around for too long and make the ML jealous or feel as though he is the second option.

Also, looks like the ML and FL quarrel about something, guessing it’s about Hui Jin being around him, blah blah blah.

Guessing the FL and her brother chat too.

Have to mention the scene at the end with the SML and the prettiest lady. Young man and grandma on a blind date.

I hope he can work it out and divorce.

But I can’t imagine living my life knowing a simple act could have changed everything and then having to watch or imagine the girl I love marrying someone else.

Only benefit would be that my girl is happy.

I’m not religious but I’m praying Beom and Myeong work it out and she doesn’t marry the painter.
