It's sad because a lot of the main cast are actually pretty popular now ! ^^For Tsubasa and Kuromiya, the other…
Yes, I did catch the hints about their relationship they dropped here and there but I didn’t want to specifically say that they were a couple here because i was afraid it would be spoiler lol But yeah, they were cute and hilarious. I love it when they made fun of Tsubasa about it and Kuromiya’s reaction every time Tsubasa was in danger was priceless hahaha 😂 This was actually a pretty fun drama, I hope someone will revive the raws and sub it someday.
In Ep3 when Shirakawa couldn't show Umemoto her journal, it was because in Ep2 Shirakawa wrote her little "secret love letter" to Umemoto in that book!! 😭 I'm so dead with the cuteness in this drama omg
I trust the original manga's author. I just don't really trust... netflix.
edit: I'm at Ep4 so far and the reason I'm still watching it because I've found out this isn't just a Netflix series, it's also a TV-Tokyo's production and all my favorite JDramas from Netflix are all TV-Tokyo's productions lol. So yeah, it's been enjoyable for me so far.
I have really enjoyed your comments on this show and I'll miss seeing them now that it's over. You should write…
Very glad to know you enjoyed my comments xD It's been over 20 days since the final episode and I still think about this drama everyday.
And thanks for the encouragement. I'm still not sure if I should write a review because I love this drama so much I don't know where to begin. When it comes to Shijukara, my words and feelings just jumble everywhere it's hard to sort them out. And if I really write a review, I'll probably give everything a 10 anyway, which I know isn't very believable to others lol But maybe... I'll give it a try later.
An impressive 1st episode to introduce the characters. Issei is doing a freaking great job so far and Kou's character is very charming. I can't wait to see the combo of Shimura x Kiriko (and Ma-kun) in action and how the story for each character unfolds.
Also, it seems like there will be surprise guest stars for every episode ;)
I watched the 1st episode with Japanese subs. Despite being a low-budget drama, it's still very sweet and informative. For every episode, they'll show us how to make a simple dish from instant ramen that connects to one of the characters' story, making it a heartwarming watch. I like the vibe, it feels like I'm watching a slice-of-life anime. They even show the actual recipe (with the ingredients and instructions) at the end of the episode, which is very helpful.
Off to a pretty good start with the 1st episode. It's interesting and well-directed so far. I can see why FujiTV had to throw all their money to get Haruka for this role, she'll definitely nail it. I find the combination of Haruka's and Oizumi Yo's character very fun to watch. A woman who eats and a man who cooks, trying to solve a murder case lol Fascinating, indeed. The filming locations are beautiful. And beware, there are a lot of food porn, like a lot. ^^~
in case you still haven't found it, you can download the raws here https://justpaste.it/83x8i
I haven't watched it, I was planning to check out the 1st ep and I saw you comment ^^ And I have issued the correct number of episodes as well, it's waiting to be approved.
Can you believe she just pushed out 2 excellent dramas and 1 movie in the first 3 months of 2022? I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't tell if it's good or not but damn... this woman is amazing.
Also, I think her signature is having the protagonists gargling with water or wine at least once in her movies/dramas lol
This drama really knows how to build touching and heartwarming moments. I'm at Episode 4 and so far it's been a very enjoyable watch. The chemistry between the characters is cute and hilarious.
