A Ninagawa Mika production meaning it will definitely be a feast for our eyes. And with these two being the main cast, it's gonna be heaven for our ears as well.
Cute and quirky indeed. Short and worth-watching. I like that there are different sizes of Seiri-chan for every women because everyone has it differently.
A very good and wholesome slice-of-life, so good that it felt a little bit too safe sometimes. But it's okay I needed that amount of positive energy in my life. As some users said below, it was consistently well written through out 26 weeks. I was ready for it to go downhill at some point but it didn't. The last 3 weeks were the best weeks imo, it was like the whole drama was slowly building up to those weeks and the pay off was satisfying.
Maybe because it was set in the post-war era so they wanted to portray a Japan that was full of strong, proud, trust-worthy and reliable people. Like a way to celebrate the 100th asadora, I think? I mean, I can't even recall a single character that was dislikable. Natsu's entire life was truly blessed by so many wonderful people around her. Yokattane, Natsu!
1. Who gave the orders to kill?2. What's the dream supposed to mean? If I remember correctly, it was shown twice…
2. This may sound cliché but I think that the dream was meant to say that it was fate that bring them together to solve the problem. It might also be connected to the legend of the Moon/Sun and the stone Hidaka took from the island.
Also since it's a man and woman switching, is there a scene when he becomes fascinated by the boobs? If there…
I can tell you, the ML completely respected the FL's body and cherished every moment he was in it. They never explicitly revealed his sexuality but it was hinted many times that he's bi/gay and he couldn't be happier when he realized he was in a woman's body.
I’m so emotionally attached to this drama. I definitely regret not waiting for it to finish to watch all at…
All are very good mystery thriller romance j-dramas: - N no Tame ni (2014) - Todome no Kiss (2018) - Byakuyako (2006) - Watashi wo Hanasanaide (2016) - Soredemo, Ikite Yuku (2011) (a freaking masterpiece) - Ouroboros (2015) (slight romance but still very good) - Last Friends (2008) (slight mystery) And remember to have your tissues ready.
When Hanako lost her son, it reminded me of how I experienced the same thing a few months ago, it was very hard…
Well, a lot of people like Asa ga Kita (2015) so it's like an Asadora's Starter Pack. Though personally, I don't want to rewatch it or think about it again because there are some characters didn't sit right with me lol. But it's still an experience, maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.
My current favorite, aside from Hanako to Anne, is Okaeri Mone (2021). It's very different and more modern than other ones. Slow paced but very heartfelt and healing. The characters felt very real and relatable.
I'm currently at 100/156 of Natsuzora (2019) and it's been a really fun and cheerful ride. Perfect to watch in-between any heavy dramas/movies. oh and Yell (2020) was good too, the characters' chemistry and friendship was amazing, somewhere towards the end it kinda lost its touch but nonetheless it's still enjoyable.
I just started watching asadora 2 months ago and only at my 5th one so that is all I can suggest. One thing for sure, they were all enjoyable and binge-worthy. I'm also planning to check out Massan and Junjou Kairi after Natsuzora, I've heard many good things about those two. I'm saving Oshin for the near future, I'm afraid it would be too great that it would make anything else seem boring lol
my god I watched the whole 120 episodes of Yell and never once realized he was the ML from Ai to iu Nano Moto ni... why am I such a failed dorama lover lol
I love that there's a scene of Kase and Rio eating together in almost every episode. So cute xD
I laughed when I thought about the possibility that he had always wanted to go to that cutesy sweets shop but didn't dare to go alone so he had to drag Rio along xD Not only to cheer Rio up but also to explore the shop, 2 birds 1 stone lol He even tried to take Rio's ice cream (if she didn't want it) hahaha
Came back here after 5 months and so happy to find out that the ending theme song finally got an official release 2 months ago yasss! you can find it on iTunes and Spotify under the name 'Hakumei' by Kumi Sato (please support the artist, it seems that she had to go through a lot to finally have it released) Official YT video: https://youtu.be/bK4n4AledPA
Hey, I also finished watching it. god im so angry haha. but my japanese not so good, I couldnt make who that guy…
You mean the guy with the neck brace? I watched this drama on TV months ago so my memories are kinda vague but if I remember correctly he was the taxi driver and aslo the father of one of the victims that got raped and killed by those bastards.
this might sound weird but I really like the way she wipes her tears with her hand. she usually starts wiping from her chin first, not from her face, which gives us the chance to see how the tears fall so beautifully. I wonder if it's a habit or she does it on purpose, either way I find it very charming and graceful. She's just so damn good at crying scenes.
