Title True Mothers Spoiler
Does the movie have a happy ending? As in, does the boy stay with his adoptive parents?
In case you still need an answer, yes, he still stays with his adoptive parents.

Remember Kase's narration at the start? That's one cause for worry, I think that it's even more foreshadowing…
I'd say go for it, make the thread 😆 We have 7 episodes left, it's gonna be one hell of a ride, of course we will need somewhere to dump all these thoughts and feels without hiding under these spoiler boxes lol But now that we all vented our E03 thoughts here, maybe we should wait until Thursday next week to start the thread, it'd be livelier i think.

Well, there must be a reason why they named the drama Saiai (Deepest Affection), everyone probably has their own someone (flashback to 'N no Tame ni' lol). I hope they'll touch more on Kase's true feelings soon. Definitely can't wait to see all the ✨developments ✨ hahaha 😏

Goto coming to be the scapegoat for everything 🤣 his character is so uptight and serious that it's kinda hilarious, i'd poke fun at him everyday if i were Rio lol

Oh now that you mentioned it, there's also the possibility that Goto asked Yu to give Watanabe the money, he seems like he would do that just to protect the company's name 🤣 I'm all in if you want to create a thread, but that means this comment section here will be quite empty xD

Maybe i'm too greedy but i hope Rio will keep both Kase and Daiki by her side hahaha unless Kase decides he wants to be more than friends/family with Rio, that's when she has to choose 1 of them. Judging from the preview for the next ep, seems like Daiki is starting to trust Rio ("I'll prove that it's not you") that would be one big step forward to shorten to distance since he has been quite skeptical about the new Rio. Can't wait to see what he'll find out next honestly, right now he's just as blind as us audience 🤣

Yeah, i hope both Daiki and Kase will know about that traumatic incident. but unless Yu tells them, it'll be very hard for Rio to open up about it. I've actually been waiting for Rio to tell Kase, but somehow i have a feeling she will tell Daiki first. ahhhh who is it, Rio? who's gonna earn your trust? who will open that black box in your heart? 😫

Title Red Spoiler
Good movie. The chemistry is just... unexpectedly hot for a couple that we don't know much about. Like, they didn't…
I know the movie is mostly about Toko dealing with her life and we don't know much about Kurata. But from what i gathered from him as a character, it's just too heartbreaking :( Raised by a divorced parent, his marriage falling apart around the same time he found out about his illness, his house was so empty (he threw away everything?), it was like he was always bearing the thought that he would die alone at any moment. I can't even imagine the sadness, the pain and the loneliness he had to go through in those 4 years :(

Must be hard for Toko to leave her daughter but at least right now she can live her life to the fullest. Live, Toko, live for him too!

Good movie. The chemistry is just... unexpectedly hot for a couple that we don't know much about. Like, they didn't even need to build up the sexual tension. And that was one hell of a greeting for someone you haven't met for 10 years lol. I wish they would give us more about how they first met, how they formed such a deep bond 10 years ago, but it's just my wish because i want to see more of them, i want to know more than just "because you two are alike and the same". Though I can see why they decided to focus on the present and the future ahead instead of drowning too far in the past.

The ending was bittersweet and sad, but it was a good and hopeful ending, i honestly can't imagine it could end any differently. Great performance from the cast as expected, Emoto Tasuku was such a scene stealer.

If he's really Yu, and now that we know he's also one of the suspects, do you think he was the culprit, again? I've been thinking about all the possibilities... he couldn't be, right? judging from how he still looked so confident running around a day later. And did he meet up with Rio and Akira in the park that night? was he the reason why Rio was crying in the taxi? that cafe was obviously a very public place, why did he give Akira the money there? sorry i just have so many questions lol it's only Ep 3, still too soon for everything to break down so i have a feeling they're leading us to somewhere else.

And I love your observation about Rio and Daiki's distance. they had always been opposite each other since they reunited, and now it seems like he's finally on her side. good job, Daiki the bot! 🤣 i wonder if he can keep his opinion about Kousuke ("even if what he did was the worst, he was under the ground for all this while...") if he knows that Rio was assaulted by that a**hole too. yes sure the father, Akira, had it rough, but when I think about the trauma Rio (and other victims) and Yu had to go through for years and couldn't tell anybody... it's so devastating :(

I've already suspect that ever since ep 2 , Miyamura & Imayoshi elevetor scene . She literally try to pick a fight…
yeah, that and when she was angry at Ichinose in Ep 1 too. But i thought she was just simply being a close friend with Mamoru. now that it's kinda confirmed in Ep 3... hmm interesting.

Title It Comes Spoiler
Finally watched it. Hmm... very interesting indeed. I have so many questions lol Kuroki Haru and Nana was amazing…
- Why did they use hangul (Korean alphabet) on the banners when they were doing exorcism at the end? Shouldn't they have used kanji instead? Was the monster from Korea or something?

- I still don't get what 'it' really was? was it a Japanese mythology monster? And what was its reason for taking others' children so aggressively? was it because their child was unwanted by their parents? was it because Chisa had been calling out for it? And why had Hideki been called since he was young? Because he was a liar? Does that monster take children and punish liars?

- Why did Tsuda and Takanashi get that 'curse'? They were killed by the same curse right? But for what reason? Because they were both liars? that wouldn't make sense in Takanashi's case though.

Too many questions, i know i'm sorry. I just can't connect the dots. It's like there was an underlying story/myth in the movie that went completely over my head.

Yeah, the "don't seek anything in return from anyone" broke my heart a bit :( we still don't know much about Kase, i hope his parents' death doesn't have anything to do with the story or else it's gonna be so messy lol

Daiki probably doesn't even recognize he's Yuu. actually we still not 100% sure that kid is Yuu hahaha they just made it seem like he's Yuu without confirming anything, how sly of them. But now that the police noticed him, they will start investigate him, it will be revealed soon. I really hope he is Yuu though.

Don't worry haha although I like watching cute Rio when she's with Kase, I'm actually rooting for Daiki to get the girl (just hoping Kase will be alright till the very end is enough lol). Can't deny the fact that Daiki is hot af whew~ 🥵 And yes, that scene when he said she was crying was just 🥺 he's kind of too good to be true though, strong sense of justice, sharp, good memory, smart, athletic, fast, kind, attractive... like what is he? is he even human lol

Miyazaki had her name saved as Kuwako in his phone too lol may be he thinks it's a good nickname, kuwako also…
i watched the episode again and realized he has been calling her Kuwako all this time so i edited my comment lol she didn't correct him so i didn't notice. thank you for that cute trivia hahaha no wonder why they love to call her Kuwako xD

Kase-sannnn :((((( his intuition is so strong, he didn't hear anything from that phone call yet he knew it right away. I love Iura Arata so i'm maybe a bit biased and i really worry about his character :( And his chemistry with Rio is so different from Daiki and Rio. When Rio's with Kase, she's so soft like a little kid, not the strong Sanada president anymore. With the hardships she's been going through all these years, I'm glad that Rio has Kase by her side like a family.

Also, dangg, the Yuu's identity reveal at the end of Ep3 was so good. another theory confirmed haha. i wonder if Rio's mother and Kase know about Yuu's current identity? now that i'm pretty sure the culprit wasn't Rio, i'm starting to pray real hard it wasn't Yuu, or... Kase 🙏

Daiki was so cool (and hot) in this episode, running at his full force catching that stalker, trying to separate work and personal feelings. He still remembers every little detail about Rio 🥺 And poor Kuwata keeps getting called Kuwako by everyone all the time xD

IMAYOSHI???? is she...... you know??? you all saw that, right???
And damn, Mamoru's getting cooler every episode, i'd fall in love with her too if i met her in real life. That scene where she tore all Ida's contracts, her attitude was amazing, i loved it. But that habit of her using manga quotes is a little unfair 🤣 my heart would stop beating if she used that on me.

Sensei was so hot I forgot to read subtitles lol whew~This drama is an underrated gem. The first few episodes…
I love how the ladies let Goro played all the roles of scum men that ruined their lives in their memories and then in Goro's memories he let himself play the role of the father that he respected lol that contrary was *chef's kiss*

This drama is an underrated gem. The first few episodes reminded me of that famous musical 'Chicago' that was made into a movie in 2002, but they added their own twists and turns, thrill and joy, a lot of different emotions and love. I can't remember when I last felt such rage like I did when Episode 5 ended. The cast was amazing, there are reasons why 7 of them are all main roles, so much talent and charisma. Everyone, please stop sleeping on this gem, give it a chance, I promise it'll be worth your time!

Tapestry (2020) was also inspired from a classic song as well, and they did amazing with that one. Unlike Tapestry, I actually have very dear memories of listening to Utada Hikaru's First Love when I was young so i can't wait to see how they're gonna do this one. Who would have thought a song that was once a drama's soundtrack would grow huge enough to inspire a new drama 23 years later? I'm sure the song will start trending again after this drama is released. Gotta let the new generation cry to this song as well! lol

stunning cinematography. interesting use of metaphors and sound effects. bittersweet but beautiful story with empowering ending. great performances from the main cast. honestly i have nothing bad to say about this drama.
the rating should have been at least 8.0 but i know the users of this site have problems with anything remotely related to 'infidelity' so i'm not surprised if there are people want to ruin the rating here lol
