Iced Hochija subs has done up to 7 eps https://subs.icedhojicha.com/tag/solo-katsu-joshi-no-susume/
I know. But I was talking about Season 2 here and the one IcedHojicha was doing is Season 1. Also their subs have been on hold for 1.5 years now, I had to watch the rest of Season 1 with Jpn subs before moving on to Season 2.
The engsubs can be found on avistaz and subscene. I'm not sure where the subs actually came from (probably subrip from official streaming platform?) and the translator's full name is credited at the end. If it's a fansub, I want to thank the translator but I don't know where I can do that lol

happy one year, shijukara ♡
started rewatching it (for god-knows-how-many time lol) on Jan 7th and finished it today. still found new details, still hurts so good and still my emotional support.
I've seen u in other comment sections too. You always notice the details.
Not sure if this is a compliment but paying attention to details is probably the only thing i'm good at while watching dramas and movies so... thank you 😂 (And I remember you from one of my Lipstick's comments haha)
not exactly a bad drama... i enjoyed the first two eps because they were really leaning into the art side of it,…
I agree. Unfortunately, this drama showed me a lot of weaknesses in her acting that I never expected to see. I thought she was good in Iribito and River's Edge but now I realized it was either because she suits that type of roles or the directors were just so good at their jobs.
nice to see your comment here. i just finished this movie and i loved it.
oh nice. that one is not completely subbed yet so i haven't got the motivation to start it, but i guess i'll have to start it soon and watch the remaining episodes raw bc god knows when it will be completed haha.
I don't know if it's just me but his recent works have been really underwhelming. Sad because he's one of my favourite…
it's not just you. aside from Takane no Hana, his recent works have been ridiculous. i was so happy when i heard he would write a GL drama but that drama ended up so disappointing.
i noticed he wrote a 2021 anime called 'Wonder Egg Priority', i haven't watched it but judging from the reviews on MAL, it seems to be quite controversial and causes many mixed reviews, they either love it or hate it, just like the Nojima Shinji we all know here haha.
I wanna watch this drama SO BADLY since it was announced, and your comment make me want to watch it even more...…
the raws are available on JPTVclub if anyone's interested. i think the reason it still hasn't got subbed is because there's no japanese subtitles available anywhere. but i know there are some really good subbers out there can translate by ears so there's still hope!
I liked this season even more than the first one. It focused more on his family and not much on his workplace (which i didn't really care in season 1). Every episode gave me various emotions, the sceneries and the food were amazing. Hoping for the day we'll meet again, Tamio-san <3
Seeing how CCE got so many awards and praises in JP and the mixed reviews here, i was curious so i decided to start watching it with JPN subs and finally finished it today. It's true that the script was weaker than most Asadoras I've watched, but I think it still depends on individual taste.
The first 2 arcs (Yasuko's and Rui's) lacked what i adore about asadora which is the stories of the supporting characters. The side characters were still there but their presence was weak and i couldn't really feel the bond/relationship between them and the heroines. But luckily everything tied together in the last arc and the supporting characters finally got their chances to develop further, which is why i enjoyed Hinata's arc the most. Sadly, i don't really have a favorite character in this one, but i really liked the Takemura Laundry's couple and Ban Kyomuzo, they were great.
Also, since the story spanned for 100 years and some of the characters were big fans of morning radio shows and asadoras, I got to learn a few interesting facts about those shows which made me kinda glad that i've watched CCE.
Thanks to Come Come Everybody, I just learned that this is one of the rare asadoras where the heroine didn't get married or have any kids, and it was about film industry! I'm very interested but sadly I couldn't find the raws anywhere. Hopefully NHK will give it a rerun someday, I'd love to watch it.

and whoever took that photo of him reading the book naturally on that poster did a freaking good job lol
Will make time to watch it soon.
