Binged all 7 episodes this week and I'm in love with this series. It does give me a Lat Twilight vibe if the story had centered more on Mhok instead of Day. And Not Me too of course. I also like that both Ai-Oon and May are grey characters. Both have done bad things or made huge mistakes. Both are lying and keeping secrets. No one is a victim here, the twists: eep. Plus, NamtanFilm have amazing chemistry together. Good that I'm caught up so I can watch ep 8 live.
Seriously 8.0? Who’s ratting this? This series is so good. Unless people don’t like her acting or something. Because two eps and I’m in love with this series. Haven’t felt that way in a long time about a Korean drama.
My JimmySea are back! I missed them so much. And they have the series many JS fans wanted for them for years! I can already tell from the mock trailer this is going to be good. InThap is here... Honestly their chemistry is out of this world. + The fact that this series will be directed by the same one who directed The Sign is awesome.
OffGun + P'Nuchy again I know this is going to be a masterpiece! It looks mature too. Just like many OG fans have wanted since Not Me. I just got to say GMM has really stepped up their game for 2025 so many good bl/gl's coming! I think there's something for all of us.
Ep 6: Seriously how can Shiyan's friends not know what upset him? Friends know each other pretty well esp if they've been close for many years. Yet Fei Weiran can't tell that Shiyan is upset over Yang not coming and thinks it's about Nina? really???? he's blind and his wife too. + I wish Shiyan would see where his jealousy is coming from instead of trying to control Yang over it. He annoyed me this episode. I guess this will continue in the next episodes until he realizes his feelings, And, either does something about them or not.
Just finished ep 10m lmao Yi Peng ended up like the clown he is. I feel bad for his next target. She has no idea what scum this guy is. Although I think Zhou Bin is even worse trash than Qu Yi Peng. And I guess Gao Pao will also end up like these men in later episodes. If not, I'll be shocked. Hope that Nan grows up after this but seeing how she is, I doubt it.
This series gets better and better each episode. Q is already falling in love and Min is starting to have feels too. Their chemistry is so good. Gives me butterflies. As for Leng's acting, he may not be perfect yet but he's much better than other rookies that have debuted on gmmtv before.
EP 14 Their chemistry!!!! they have intense tension going on there. Ren Jia Lun talked about how well he connects with Landy Li and how they balance each other out + the way she stays with him in scenes. It only makes his acting better. I remember Chen Xingxu saying the exact same thing back when they did TSL. Landy Li just has this ability to connect with her costars so strongly that she creates magic with them. I don't think there's been any of her pairings yet that haven't had chemistry. Tho my favorites with her so far are CXX and RJL. LL is so talented that she knows exactly how to create magic when needed. This is why she's one of China's best young actresses. She brings out the best in her costars. When Zhao rescued Ci it showed how much he's starting to care about her, despite himself. Ci is definitely attracted to his goodlooks but she doesn't trust him and rn you can't really blame her for that. I couldn't help and remember when Shaodian Youquin jumped into Guzu to save Yetan(ep 40 :() in that scene too. Ahhh TSL is my favorite Chinese drama, so I happen to be reminded of it very easily. Love Ci's courage and willingness to do what's right.
Pei Yan and Wei Zhao working together to oust the Pei clan. I liked it. They would be such good partners if there wasn't so much hatred and other hidden emotions between them. Well let's see what the future brings.
Pei Yan shows his true face yet again when he betrayed his own family for his gain. This man is freaking dangerous. To get what he wants his willing to do anything. I think even WZ was shocked by this even if he understood it too. The corrupt Pei's did need to pay but not the way or for the reasons PY did it.
