I'm loving this series. I can't wait to see Justitia's punishment for the gold digger, serial killer. Justitia seems to have a soft spot for children which will edge her on to punish the stepmom. I also like that Daon knows the truth of who Justitia is. I dislike supernatural dramas where it takes the FL or the ML a long time to figure out the other is truly a demon or another supernatural creature. It's good that he already knows.
Yeoreum is going to be the: annoying, can't take "no." for an answer character, isn't she? I'm so tired of these characters, seriously they are everywhere! Ok I get it they have feelings too but pls find someone who loves you back instead of chasing someone who doesn't. UGH. Im glad Itsuki and Fuyu settled their misunderstandings right away.
EP 5: Those blind dates were hilarious! Yang's mom is so extra. Good that Yang had Shiyan to help her. Also, lol how the dinner date that Shiyan wanted to ruin inviting the friends to mess it up, backfired on him. They all ended up as matchmakers XD. But how come no one else but Cheng Hui know that Shiyan has a crush on Yang? They've all known him around the same time but can't tell. I guess CH is the most intuitive of them and yep not all of them are mind readers.
Peng and Su the real example of when ambition, being a pos (him, not her) and greedy makes love not enough. He may "love" her, but he loves himself and his greed way more than he ever did her. That as a good scene explaining how their relationship fell apart. Also, anyone know when both Han and Nan will find out what trash and scum both Bin and Peng are? I'm guessing towards the end of the series.
EP 4 I think this episode gave a reason why they don’t want to break the friendship barrier. Even though they have feelings for each other , known or not, they are scared their friendship will be ruined. Yang the most since she had been hurt by this before. Sometimes it’s not easy to walk over that threshold of friendship and love.
Ep 7: Of course Lifeng doesn't like the novels Miu writes. That's going to bring many problems to them. + finding out that he "fell" for her because her father fished the info on him. Don't knos how he will take this. Zhou continues being anoying I hope Zheng will tell her he won't consider her because he doesn't see her that way.
EP 13 What an intense episode! I love Jiang Ci so much. She is not only incredibly smart and clever the way she got out of nearly being killed. And the clues she left so they find her, but she has this pure heart that wants to help anyone she can. She's not only brave but a sweetheart with high values and caring for others. That's why I think Wei Zhao ends up falling for her later. LOL at her plan to get to the temple at first had me laughing for a second there. WZ was really worried about JC despite himself he's really starting to care for her. Every episode I grow more tired of PY's behavior towards JC. Is she impulsive and can get herself in trouble? yes but she can also get out of it using her smarts. I guess he's traumatized from all the times she nearly died. Still let her be her own person ffs.
The moment Tian tied his bracelet back together I knew that they were telling us not to give up hope for S2. If he's not going to give up hope and will wait for Wang, we shouldn't either.I just hope it happens. I need them to be happy.
I can't believe they end it like that. I really hope, hope that S2 happens because it's obvious the director wants that season. That's why he ended it that way. Yes the end was depressing and heartbreaking but if you look closely there's that underlying hope that everything will be fine for Tian and Wang in the end. I feel like this is also the hope for S2. I'm still giving this a 10/10. Because it still is a beautiful story that for me took me back to my youth, made me care tons about these characters, made me remember what it felt like when I was 17 &"I had the whole world in my hands, and could do anything." I loved everything, the friendships, the school atmosphere, that feeling of being invincible at 17 and of course that first love that stays with you no matter where you go.
Both Nan and Han lack complete self-love that's why it's so easy for scum like Yi Peng and Zhou Bin to manipulate them like they are. Zhi Nan showed that in the phone call with Su. Who stays with a man who is obviously lying to them just for attention and a chance at love???? someone like Nan who's desperate for it damn the consequences. I wonder if her parents never loved her that's why she's looking for love everywhere. As for Han, we don't know her as well yet, but it seems like she also has the same issues Nan does. Hence why she would be in a relationship with an "ex-married." man without making sure if he was lying to her or not. BTW I knew that pos was lying to her. Find it funny how the ones who were cheated on and the ones who are dumb are a set of friends. I'm glad Su got out of there when she did. Speaking of that Yi Peng confuses me, it seems like he has(d) some genuine feelings for Su but not enough to be faithful or give up his ambitions for her.
EP 12: I'm so tired of Pei Yan treating Ci like she's a weakling who can't do anything on her own. Let her breathe! She is not a weakling, but a strong, independent free spirit. Seeing PY trying to quell that every chance he gets annoys me to no end. The rowing scene in the beginning of the episode shows how differently Zhao and Yan see Ci. Yan tells Ci to "Be careful." when he sees her take the oar. Zhao oth looks impressed by Ci's nature to help and her kindness to others. Her sweetness is really breaking down his walls. That little smile when she gave the girl her cloak said it all again. I'm not excusing these men's ability to use her for their gain and to hurt her. But one seems to value and respect her now, while the other sees her as a weak woman who he must keep caged and "protect." The Pei dinner/family scene while I do think Wei Zhao mostly stood up for Jiang Ci in that moment, I do think deep down he did it for Pei Yan. The look in his eyes said that he understood Pei Yan being abused by his family & that he is not as corrupt as those uncles are yet. Maybe this will play a part later on in the story if they reach a mutual understanding. I wonder what that: "Is this made out of stale rice?" mean something? The look on WZ's face seemed like it did. Ohhh and was Zhao jealous in this ep? I think he may have. His friend/subordinate seems to have clocked on to how his feelings, /intentions towards JC are changing. + Landy Li really knows how to choose her roles. First Yetan and now Ci. I can't wait to see where her career keeps taking her.
