Shin Hye Sun really is a good actress I think she did a good job in separating the two characters. The story is interesting and the way that this was shot + the coloring gives it a gloomy perspective. It gives the story more seriousness + fits the theme. As for the romance here, I think I like her with the second male lead way more. Hopefully he gets the girl.
Ep 2. Was interesting. Mu certainty learned how to read lips exceptionally well in six months for not anyone being able to tell that he is deaf. Why must writers always use the: "sister is evil." cliche? sigh. Can't she just be appreciative and love her sister without problems? anyway, I hope Mu realizes soon that Rao Shan isn't the girl he is looking for Fei is. The opinions on this drama seem divisive but so far, I've liked the first two episodes. Let's see where the story goes.
Ep 4 was so funny! Qu Zheng and Su's antics to leave Baiwan behind and her catching up to them every single time: lol It must be the martial arts sense in her. She may have forgotten she can use them but the knowledge of them is still in there. The funniest part tho was Muqu trying to get Lin Feng to fall in love with her and him not getting it XD. He really sucks at Romance. Loved her dad joining in the quest to help his daughter lmao. And I wonder if that attack at the end was planned or not.
The men in this drama are scum and well the women are so easy to manipulate because they are looking for romance. LOL when Yi Peng realizes that Zhi Nan isn't the heiress, he thinks she is bwahahaha. I feel bad for Zhi a bit because she's so dumb, she really is desperate to have a bf. The characters are so complicated and do reflect some young people living in urban areas in realistic ways.
Another one that took 3 years to air looks like. What's with the Chinese industry that is airing dramas from around 3yrs ago(that I know of) now? Fall In Love with A Fox Echo Of Her Voice & A Talented Girl Grows Up were filmed 2-3 years ago but are barely being broadcast now? why? I'll never understand the Chinese entertainment industry
I think she was pretty stupid for letting him know in front of the ML. Did she really have to do that?
I think she did they to best him in front of others. She didn’t think he’d do what he did. She should have seeing how many times he tried to kill her befote but I think she thought this time she’d be protected by PY.
Whoever said this is like Unforgotten Night, I concur Tho I think the acting is a bit worse here haha. But hey, I wanted to watch a mess I got one lol. Oh, and if Elis thinks being an ahole will get him what he wants=Patt not going to work that way. Unless Patt enjoys this bit of toxic love, which he might.
OMG episode 9!!!!! I'm in shock to what I just watched. I see why some warned me of what Wei Zhao was going to do to Jiang Ci after she revealed Teng Rui was alive. Damn he's a monster and such a red flag how, how am I supposed to root for them, later? He tries to kill her again and this time with torture? yikes. Ok I know I may come to accept them esp since both Allen Ren and Landy Li are such exceptional actors. But right now, I'm very iffy on this love story. I've heard eps 10-11 are really the turning point for their story. I want to see how it happens. And since China loves to do these really dark love stories in historical, political series I guess I will change my mind once I get there. Anyway, back to the episode what an emotional ride! Seeing WZ's plan fall apart because of the ripple effects of what JC did was hard to watch. Those people did not deserve to die, esp. since they just wanted justice against a cruel kingdom who destroyed their hometown. And out of loyalty for their young master too. Have to praise Allen Ren's acting in the interrogation of the He's he made me feel everything. I guess for Ci watching those deaths she'll come to see that not everything is black and white like she always believed. She also saw her beloved PY's dark side come out which I guess will make her see that he's not as honarble as she believes him to be. Everyone has a dark side Jiang Ci just needed to start opening her eyes to Pei Yan's.
I;m really going to miss this show! It was my feel-good drama every Sat-Sun. Loved the ending made me laugh, just like every episode did. It wa also heartwarming with the mom and her two boys. Despite the negativity against this drama it is definitely going into my favorites, and I'll give it a rewatch from time to time.
EP 4 All these people need to break up with each other. Tho since they are grey areas in all of their relationships and some kind of feelings involved they won't. When it comes to love, relationships and human emotions + nature: it's all so complicated.
Good start! I think these characters fit Park Shin Hye better. Also, like how the Justina is a real anti-hero but something tells me she's going to soften as the story continues. Watching that Moon guy get the pain he inflicted in karma was very satisfying to watch.
