Thanks for explaining :). Interesting how cultures can be so different but deep down the same too. It's interesting to see how we all express things differently.

I'm not Asian maybe someone who can explain better. But from what I understand and think, it's because in Asian culture people are more reserved when it comes to expressing their love. Although they obviously feel it, they don't express it as much with words or physical intimacy in front of others. Not like Western culture does at least, we go all out. They have different ways I guess.
Almost there we can do it. Agree about TTEOTM esp with all the attention and promotion that it's getting from…
It's not for everyone esp since it's very angsty and some are iffy on the main actor, I thought he was decent in this one. I loved it. One of my faves for sure.
I just saw the second trailer of that one and I must admit is another thing. Best not tot compare at all. Classic…
I'm so glad this section remained one of the nicest, healthiest sections while TSL was airing. I've been part of some nasty one's yikes. I was happy here. Doubt I'll encounter another like this one sadly.
I love how the writers had Youqin say: "Wo ai ni." Instead of Wo xi huan ni." Because that's the strongest and deepest way of saying"I love you." In Chinese culture (read that online). And wow was Youqin's love for her deep, powerful and all compassing. The script writer definitely knew how to express that with his words too. In some dramas they never say I love you, like in The Blue Whisper although the audience knew they did and in most "Wo xi huan ni." is used instead .

TBH I'm kinda in a mood for a real angsty one. TBW gave me that feeling but since I didn't watch it while it was airing, I missed out on the convos. And that is one of my favorite things when I'm watching a drama like with TSL. I'll have that experience with TTEOTM. Tho that section is harsher than this one LOL.
not sure until youku posts the airing schedule and 1st episode (to see more or less average duration of each ep)mdl…
ah. ok :) thank you. I guess it's still uncertain until it starts. I'm torn 40 eps feels like a little for a story like this. but at the same time if there's no filler and the story doesn't drag then it's perfect like with TSL.
So this is still two parts right? because I've seen people saying that it's only 40 eps now and condensed to 50+ min episodes(rumors? or true). MDL still has it as 2 parts so I'm unsure.
Oh dear friends: we have about 300 comments to go to get to 20K! Let’s try to make it in the next three days…
Almost there we can do it. Agree about TTEOTM esp with all the attention and promotion that it's getting from Youku. Kind of wish TSL would have gotten that attention but at the same time it didn't need it. It shone on its own.
1. QK vs. Wudai! Sis did not need any help from CF. She overpowered on her own! Tell me all your thoughts. Is…
1. QK defeating WD with her medicine skills showed how badass she was. Sis was strong in her own way. Really came to love her this ep. I liked that she definitely wasn’t the delicate flower and could hold her own in a different way than YT. 😍 that both our FL’s are badasses in their own way. 2. At first I didn’t understand why YQ broke his promise but YT was so rebellious that she would have gotten in trouble one way or another. It was YQ’s way of protecting her from his pos father who was looking at any reason to hurt her. It kept her mischief down therefore kept her safe. Plus the eyes were a bond between them that both didn’t see coming. Love how YT didn’t back down tho and fought to have the Iriscent Eyes removed. 3. 😂😂😂😂 QK turning CF Green was hilarious! Esp the scene where he tries to remove it 😁👌. And yes he definitely deserved that.
1. Meeting Chao Feng’s mother. Initial thoughts on her?2. YQ and the sweet candy. More of his senses are being…
1. I liked Chaofeng’s mother instantly. She was fun and looked like a great mother. I also liked how she disciplined her son 😂. 2. YQ definitely runs away from YT because she makes him feel way too much. Be it thru his five senses or the love he’s starting to feel for her. He’s not ready to feel anything because of the sacrifice he’s been preparing all his life to make. 3. 😂😂😂😂 the hair explosion scene one of the best comedy moments. Rewatched so many times. 4. The test scene was the moment I completely fell in love with YT’s character. I loved how smart, resourceful and how much a fighter she was. Never gave up. Plus YQ’s incredible proud moment he was falling hard and fast. Another of my favorite scenes. 5. Di Lanjue earns my heart this episode. He’s not the annoying “second” ML. 6. I understand CF’s lies a little more since we start to see more of his back ground story. But I just wanted him to be honest with QK. She didn’t deserve to be deceived.
After the mostly lightness of TSL I'm in the mood for a really angsty drama. Looks like TTEOTM will give me that but it's gonna hurt no doubt just like TBW did.
We'll see each other there! haha, and hopefully that drama will manage to captivate us the same way. I've been…
SDYQ is iconic, even if some naysayers say no. He is the fact that he’s got us thinking of him while watching other dramas says it all. To me he’s the best ML I’ve seen. And yay that I’ll see you over there too! Nice to keep watching dramas with friends I’ve made in previous ones 😍😁
