Yes I was completely surprised that her father would basically let her starve because he seemingly hated her that much. Yetan was a child for the most part how could he let everyone treat her that way? Spare me the "I was weak." bs. He could have still put his servants in check. From the brothers I was definitely liking Wudai the most. I was pretty much upset at Chaofeng and Wudai was a hidden gem.
This ep also has one of my favorite scenes:
"Liguang Qingkui, you are definitely something." sigh the look on Youqin's face when he says this <3. First sign that he's falling in love with her.

In a way Qingkui was right in her decision because it kept them safe and of course led the two sisters to fall in love with their husbands 😂. But at the same time I didn’t like how she made the decision for Yetan. After CF tried to kill both sisters at Waijing City I wasn’t liking him much. I know he saved QK in the last moment but it took me awhile to trust him again. I loved all of YT’s antics to try and get the eyes removed. Couldn’t stop laughing.

They are both equally powerful but that’s not revealed til later in the series.

LOL you recognized it too. Yeah Youqin was right everyone uses that array I see.

It's still a hit. Especially since the other dramas were traffic stars and TSL didn't have any. It's the top sucess in Asian countries from what I saw esp in the beginning of 2023.

I hope Youku uploads this on YT like with The Starry Love and other dramas so far.

Youku reusing the same CGI effects for Til the End of The Moon(trailer is out) haha. Got to be cost efficient I guess ;) lol.

This year I think Youku may have winners with their Xianxia's, The Starry Love is a massive hit & a masterpiece no doubt about it. Til the End of The Moon looks like it will head in the same direction.

Good trailer. It gives me the Blue Whisper vibes. Similar love stories: filled with lots of pain and angst. Oh and I recognized the same effect from the Starry Love for the array haha. Despite that I think I'm gonna like it. Since I loved both The Starry Love and The Blue Whisper. Will this help me with the slump TSL left me with? we will see.

whoa! I never thought of that. I thought it broke because the hit was so strong. That makes sense why it didn't kill her. Damn that man sure loved her more than anything. Not only were his shards protecting her, so was his soul from beyond the grave.

He really was what Yetan needed in her life. His love fulfilled all her wishes, protected her above everything else. Every cell and bone in his body were hers and he proved that every day they were together. His love def healed her. Therefore, they are a beautiful love story that will remain with me for a long time.

Yeah after everything that happen none of the 4 want to be rulers. They want a peaceful life without any of the burdens of leading the realms. In the mortal world they can be a big family and live free of any constraints.

I rewatched the fruit induced kiss so many times 😆. It’s hilarious and we actually see the birth of Wenren 😆👌. As for how Youqin handled things with the Iriscent Eyes after her escape. Yes, to me he was fair. He couldn’t bring himself to harm or let her be harmed physically so that’s the next best thing he could do. While the Eyes are troublesome and hinder her, it’s nothing compared to what she would have gone thru had she been punished by lighting. Then we have him saving her from Chaofeng even though he was angry. He was protecting her from the very beginning.

I think the Heavenly Realm wil be less strict and more lenient. Get rid of those absurd rules and demands the HE put in place. I see Qingheng being a more lenient and fun ruler. The Void was pretty much less authoritative than Heavenly Realm so with Wudai as ruler I expect it to remain that way without the blood drinking of course.
But honestly I don’t expect either YQ/YT or CF/QK to live in their respective realms even after they comeback. If anything they’ll just go back for visits and live in the Beast Realm or Donqjiu

Completely agree. + the shards love for Tan amplified his love for her even more. He loved her before, he loves her even more after the mortal arc.

He is def the funniest of the 3 although I also love the scene with Wenren where she kicks him and draws on his face XD.
