2. Man Man's death that was so heartbreaking.
3. Qingkui's death
4. Lamu, Hearltess and Wenren sacrificing themselves in order to resurrect Youqin
5. Tan's sacrifice at Guixu
6. Yetan sees all the birthday gifts her dad has left her over the years.
7. YQ's death after fixing Guixu

I'm done! T_T. I waited a little bit to watch ep 40 and be completely finished. I still feel the same about the ending and after watching The Blue Whisper's ending albeit it's happy iti s rushed and I'm unclear if it's real or the ML's imagination while he waits for her. I am sorta happy that the writers handled it like this. It makes sense imo and it's better than a rushed one. Do I want more? Yes, but I like that it wasn't rushed like LBFAD, SoTM and TBW's ones because in the end that's not completely satisfying at all either. Well to me it's not haha. So hard to let go of these characters and story :(. But I'll be having a rewatch pretty soon. I'm already rewatching all my favorite moments.

This. Both love stories were beautiful and helped each of the characters grow and become stronger because of their love for each other. And I completely agree about both YQ and YT’s sacrifices at Guixu. Both were made because of their love for each other.

I just finished The Blue Whisper (Which I loved) and eventhough the ML doesn't start toxic he becomes that way because of something the FL does to him to "protect him." man that was bad. Although, it's kinda understandable but still-toxic is toxic. Anyways what I'm trying to say is: true, from the Xianxia's that I've seen most ML's are very toxic towards the FL. Even if they don't start that way they become so like in TBW. Shaodian Youqin was the exception no matter what his love for Yetan is healthy he stands by her, protects her, fights along side her instead of pushing her away to protect her. To me that's groundbreaking and broke molds. No matter what some say.

I was glad Tan didn't kill him because that was her husband's father and in the end, it would have drove them apart. YQ didn't want his father dead by her so :). But Suzhi should of had the pants to do it instead of hiding behind Yetan.

If she stays with Xingxu I'll be okay with her. He's the kind of actor that brings out the best in the people he works with. Landy is amazing but watching their scenes he definitely helped her shine even more. Example the gift scene, he pulled back and let her have the scene but he still sent her cues that she could react to. I think he can do that with Esther Yu if they are paired.

High pitched voice is really grating to me. I dislike when they have the FL acting childish and give her a baby voice to boot. Sigh. YT thankfully had neither of those attributes. LLD using her own voice was a gift.

LOL I loved that scene and YQ's face? haha. They were such a treasure from the first moment.

I really hope Xingxu works with Lusi in the future. She's the actress I mostly want to see him work with other than Landi(esp if I can't see them together again T-T).

I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one who finds her annoying. Everyone seems to love the drama and the characters and I'm ???? what am i not getting lol. Yeah I think it was LLD that made Yetan barable to me. Her acting was so good. I felt like I was watching Liguang Yetan not LLD acting her role. With Esther Yu, I feel her acting more than her character even if she's just playing herself apparently XD.

That would have been so much better than what she ends up doing. I understand her pain but it was just unfair that she chose to use Tan in an awful way to get her revenge.

True most of them are so annoying ffs. I've dropped so many because of that reason too. From all the ones that I've tried watching and manage to stick with only 3 have seemed strong/not annoying to me: Yetan, Yuenhue(The Blue Whisper) and Yexi(Wulin Heroes). I have trouble with modern Cdrama because those are the worst FL's for me.

The way she killed Changfeng's friends in ep 35(I think) she could have easily offed that old geezer and be done with it. Even if YT agreed to rid the world of him it was obvious she wouldn't do it because of her love for YQ. SZ just came off manipulative and cowardly in the end.

Yep she was pretty happy in the Heavenly Realm in the end mostly because of her love for YQ but she adjusted pretty quickly.

XD. I'll try again someday haha. I loved Yetan tho because she never seemed annoying to me from the beginning. Orchid was just too much for me. But I'm willing to give it another chance. I want to see what I'm missing.
