That sword fight was so angsty and chemistry filled. Seriously LLD imo is the best partner CXX has had they know how to complement each other so well <3. Love is a powerful thing. Youqin's love for Yetan is so powerful that just one interaction with her and his memories start flooding back. He loves her more than anything, sigh. Even memoryless he still loves her hence why he couldn't kill her.
Poor Yetan though how much loss does she have to endure? First her soulmate sister, then her Jie_Jie and now her soulmate(thank goodness that doesn't last long) Her longing for him thru the mirror tho That piece of crap HE I hate him more and more. How does he think Youqin would react to killing the woman he loves if he ever regained his memory? He thinks he's just gonna be ok with that? pos. Gah he is so disgusting makes me almost vomit when I see him. At least he ends up like a clown for seriously underestimating YQ's love for YT. If he defied the world so to speak for her more than once that should show him how much his son loves Tan. But I guess since he doesn't love anyone, he just doesn't get it. LOL
The Empress was so right about how he ses his own son as a pawn and doesn't care about what YQ feels or wants.
HE being disastrously stupid when it comes to Youqin's love for Yetan is his downfall(still wish he would have been murdered) and I can't wait to watch that in its entirety tomorrow. Also that Gargantuan is just as pos like his master. Tan never did anything to him and he still hates her? At least he ends up dishonored and in prison.

BTW I started Blue Whisper and it's kinda the angsty goodness I like. Makes me glad tho that there was none of that pain here tho haha.

I hope you don't it gets scary out there haha. I've been a part of some: Alchemy of Souls part 2's section got nasty. And if you like BL in the comment sections of those series you'll see lots of fighting and bashing of the actors sometimes etc. I think Cutie Pie's was the worst section I've seen so far. Thankfully TSL's section never got ugly.

I was rewatching The Romance of Tiger and Rose, which one of my faves <3. If anyone still hasn't seen it I highly remommend. That's where I fell in love with Both Ryan Ding and Rosie Zhao. There was a scene where the ML says: "Who dares to hurt her?" and my mind immediately went to TSL haha.

I love how chatty we still are. 2,000 + comments after it ended. Wow. Got to love this comment section. It never got toxic like others on MDL and there's still so much lively discussion going on. I'm gonna miss it here when I eventually leave.

this is me. Depends if I can find something else that I love as much. But once I give my heart to a series it takes forever to move on for me.

I’m gonna say TSL. GMP got him known but it was TSL that really brought him the critical acclaim he deserves. His work here was so outstanding that it made people stand up and notice. After YQ I doubt he’ll be overshadowed by other actors like he was after GMP.

😂. He even mentions that she’s the only one who caused ripples in his heart. Haha. He fell in love even without feelings. Darn his love was so powerful.

Maybe YQ’s forgiveness is fake just to get what he wants. Not the first time he tricks his father. And i’d like that idea more 😂

Love is a powerful thing. I was worried that thing had gotten rid of them. Tho in the last scene of ep 38 you see: Lamu(and earlier in the ep too), Wenren and Mequyin make their presence known.

Yes esp from YQ that man fell hard and fast. YT did too but it takes the mortal arc for her to completely realize it.

In the end when we think about it all the shards got to live the life they wanted with Yetan. They are all still there and thru Youqin they get their dream. It's sad that we don't see them physically anymore, but their presence is felt esp when CXX played them so well at times. Like in ep 26 you see all of them. In ep 38 too, so glad that blasted stake of oblivion didn't erase them after all.

The VT probably forgave her after the whole deal with the Twin flower

THIS. To see YQ basically forgive him for all the pain he put him thru was disgusting. I know in the end it was because he helped him bring YT back but still, he was the biggest reason she died in the first place UGH. Youkin is too good to his disgusting father in the end. I wish someone would have given him the painful death he deserved.

esp since I kinda think Wudai was Yetan's sorta first love XD. She was so infatuated with him. She would have done eveything in her power to win him over. I think it would have been similar to the Saintess and him in the end. CF would have not been an option to her.

Maybe with TSL popularity it will push Youku to release it esp since it's mostly the same cast. We'll see.

Yeah maybe QK and YQ would have fallen in love but since they weren't fated I don't think it would have been as powerful as Youqin and Yetan's or Chaofeng and Qingkui's. Hmm Wudai and Yetan? I wonder how that would have ended up lol.

Yeah, Youqin's love for Yetan is a powerful thing he's willing to risk his life for her many times. As long as she's safe, that's all that matters to him. Had it not been for the shards she wouldn't have gotten to know all of him. She already had feelings for him before the mortal arc but it was thru the shards that she truly learned how to love him.
