She really adores her Kui. I guess she understood why Qingkui was doing what she was even if it failed. I love how the bond between the sisters was loving not hateful or filled with jealousy either.

I don't think I could either. That's why I really love Yetan, despite all her hardships she's still able to love and fogive easily. Her heart is huge.

Watching ep 31 it's obvious how much the cast loved working together. There's several moments where you can tell that they break character and just laugh, esp CXX.

The boys finally meet their father in law. Gotta say those scenes were so good. Esp the Chaofeng and Emperor Tun ones I couldn’t stop laughing. They are a hilarious pair. Consort Xue fits the Emperor pretty well too. Love when she made Chaofeng kneel 😂. The girls defending their “wrong” marriages with their lives ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
The Youqin and Emperor scenes where YQ swears to protect YT with his life were as equally as good too. At least he trusted Youqin enough to tell him the truth about his decisions to “protect” Tan. I still hate what he did and can't really forgive him for what he did to his daughter, I get it. Due to future eps too I dont hate the Emperor as much anymore. I did like how Youqin basically let him know that he was a shat father, even if he forgave him too easily. I guess to YQ no one is worse than his own father. And truly my baby does have the worst father out of all of them.
Seeing more of Yetan’s childhood breaks my heart for her. She was a child ffs those servants whatever are disgusting. Mortals sometimes are the bane of existence. But I love how that didn’t take her loving, and kind nature from her. She became tough but remained True to her heart. She’s my favorite FL ever and Landy Li plays her so well. Her emotions when she over hears YQ and her dad’s conversation 👌.
Speaking of YQ it’s so hard for him to really experience the life she led before he met her. You can literally see his heart breaking when he enters her bedroom. Lol at his jealousy with the Wudai pic.
Soeaking of Wudai, I love him more and more. The way he protected QK he deserves all the happiness in the world. The Empress is disgusting. So glad her plan failed abd she came out looking like a clown to the Void Emperor.
Love seeing the YQ, YT, CF and QK all together their dynamic is so good. Lol “Fifth” truthfully he is the 5th version of Shaodian Youqin.

Finally done. Not perfect but pretty satisfying esp the end. 8.5/10. I do wish Cang Qi would have found love tho. In the end he wasn’t a villain.

I've always had a question who tries to kill Yetan in ep 4? The one Youqin saves her from? Is it Chaofeng? I mean, he's the only other one who knows about the switch. Yet, I don't recognize the voice LOL. Or is it Haichao?
