I think YQ's white robes although very elegant and pretty don't do much for him. He looks good yes, but IA the dark blue and pale blue shades are perfect on him. CF I do remember the white did not favor him but maybe other colors would have been good. But alas the black was the best on him too.

Heartbreaking that she had to wait 21 years to def know that her father did love her after all. YT did not deserve that. Luckily, she had other people that loved her and gave her all the love she needed. YQ especially. CXX and LLD are so good together. They know how to play off each other perfectly.

I know! Just tell us either way. I fear it's gonna cause more anger if they keep playing with people's feelings. They have the footage of YQ at Lamu's cottage just edit it to be the ending. Although CF and QK will miss out but it's better than nothing. Yeah seeing Youqin's and Chaofeng's complete happiness at the end tells me all I need to know. Plus I love how we are able to see YT's personality in the flower haha we definitely know it's them and it won't take long for them to be reborn. It's not gonna take 10,000 years like the twin flower did not take 1,000 years for it to be reborn either. I think the vein let them go hence why the flower regrew so fast.

He'd do anything to protect his girl. Love him so much for that. The gift scene hurts. But so good too.

If Yetan's death would have happened in ep 39 then I think there would have been enough time to give us a thru happy ending. But since they dragged it out til ep 40 and it takes like 20 mins there wasn't enough time sadly.

In a way I'm glad we didn't get that rushed ending. Sure, we wanted more but I wouldn't have been happy with LBFAD kind of ending either. I also saw that Song of The Moon had the same rushed ending. I think the writers did the best they could with the time given.

It's not really a bad ending tho. It's happy and hopeful. We know the sisters will be back and their husbands know it 100%. It would have been better to see the sisters, yes, but I was satisfied. Honestly the ending doesn't take anything away from this amazing drama.

I love that we got to see Youqin out of his Heavenly Realm robes in ep 32. The pale/light blue one he wears at the end of this ep has to be one of my favorite outfits of his. Too bad Chaofeng's robes mostly stay the same thru out the drama. It would have been nice to see him wearing "regular" robes too.

I saw a TSL trailer with CXX being dubbed and nope. That dub did not fit the character at all. I imagine how it would have sounded when it came to the shards. Thankfully Xingxu used his own voice.

Ep 32.
This ep shows how perfect Youqin is for Tan. He found the perfect way to help mend the relationship between Yetan and her father without imposing his will on her. Landy Li broke my heart in the gift scene, she is so good with emotions. Chen Xingxu was great too showing Youqin’s pain at watching YT’s heartbreak but not overpowering LLD. That’s why they are the perfect acting team. 😂 at Youqin being petty with the Chancellor’s Star 😂😂😂😂😂. Although that jerk deserved it.
I still dislike the mortal king but his scenes with Yetan made me emotional. They were long time coming. At least Tan knows her father does love her.
Seeing her finally feel all that love from all the people who love her melted my heart.
Loved the family hijinks between YQ, YT, CF and QK this ep. if only it lasted longer. Also this ep is painful in foreshadowing the end. If only we could have seen them live that life that all 4 wanted. The family bond forming between them and the chemistry between the 4 is ❤️.
Hah the biatch fairy sure got hers, too bad we didn’t get to see it tho. Can’t wait to see YQ and YT’s wedding tomorrow although they are already technically married thru Heartless. I forgot about that lol since Heartless was just a part of Youqin after all haha. Btw it’s great to see: Lamu, Heartless and Wenren from time to time and know that they are not gone 100%.

They are not dubbed in this one tho. . Except for Luke Chen the main cast used their own voice.

Exactly. The only reason Youqin turns his back on his father is because that ahole doesn’t allow him to love who he wants to love. None of that would have happened if he just let him be happy.

That was the end I wanted for him too. Him getting killed by those black things at Guixu. The Empress does show how strong she is later. I loved one of her actions toward that pos.

He has no excuse. I think his marriage was arranged too. Just by the way he forbids Youqin from loving Yetan tells me that he's never been in love with the Empress at all. Because he's only in love with himself and power. They managed 3 children and I have to wonder how. I guess it was the work of the fruit so he could have heirs. I hate how he treats his children esp YQ. The thing is he actually expected QingHeng to suffer the same faith as Youqin and sacrifice himself at Guixu. YQ said no way! and took that on himself for his brother. That man is horrible and has no soul. He is one of my most hated villains ever. And it's ok to rant LOL. TSL evokes all these emotions from us.

I know Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin from The Eternal Love were very much loved as a couple and did 4 dramas together. 3 that were the same series but still LOL. Maybe it can be done again and Chen Xingxu and Landy Li work together again.

Yes rack all that love babies. I tend not to ship rl but hey they are slowly stealing my heart. I love their friendship regardless if they date or not. Plus them being this loved by the audience heightens the possibility of them being paired again. Here I go with my wishful thinking 😂🤞
