If they wanted to crap on him it backfired heavily. TSL cemented him as a high prestige actor. Plus earning him a lot of love from fans. And if that rumor is true, he chose the right role for him. Just like DW did with LBFAD. Not a fan but I do see how that role worked out the best for him too. Sometimes fated roles fall into the actors' hands and this time it did with both YQ/TSL and QC/LBFAD.

Honestly, I don't think he's that good of an actor but he did make QC work could have been mostly due to the voice actor lol. I can't see him playing Lamu, MQ or Wenren if he had gotten the YQ role instead.

Not a big fan of Dylan Wang but I think from what I've seen of LBFAD that's been his best role up to now. I can't see him playing YQ if the actors had been switched. So yes both were perfect for their roles and di such a good job. No wonder their fans grew.

Man Man deserved to live til the end. Her and Yetan were platonic soulmates. YT's pain was unbearable to watch and how MM basically gave her life to protect her, breaks my heart. Agreed the Empress is a freaking psychopath. She would have been the perfect wife for the HE. I can't wait for Yetan to Zap her.

I saw on twitter and facebook (don't know if it's 100% true) that Chen XingXu was actually approached to play Dongfang Qincang(Love Between Fairy and Devil) but he turned it down for TSL. I'm glad he did. I can't see anyone else playing Youqin tbh. And I can see why Shaodian Youqin appealed more to him as an actor. In the end the right decisions were made, and the right actors played SDYQ and DFQC. Can't see it any other way.

Man Man nooooooo 💔😭💔. That is even more heartbreaking once I’ve seen the whole episode 😭😭😭😭😭. To think YT and MM just wanted their day to celebrate their soulmate day. Even if Tan didn’t show it a lot she really loved Man Man. She was her soulmate sister. LLD destroyed me in that scene. My heart hurts why? MM’s death really starts the change in tone of the series. Just pure heartbreak from here on out for Yetan, Youqin, Chaofeng and Qingkui 💔. The little happiness they get is marred with so much pain and obstacles. Ps. Man Man deserved to find love too but now it’s obvious why she never did 😭.
I loved Yetan and Youqin’s wedding. My babies are so cute. Loved that they used the peacock wedding outfits since they hold such emotional value to them. Heartless promised a better wedding for her and he gave it to her. They were so happy. Unfortunately that’s the last bout of real happiness they’ll experience 😭. 😂😂 At Yetan wanting to admire the moon and poem while Youqin wanted to get down to business 😂. Btw, oh hai Wenren! One of the few times we see him 😂. The Heavenly Empress blessing their marriage from Heaven, she really is the best mom next to Consort Xue.
I love the brothers in law. The bright spot in this dark ep besides the wedding. Haha Feng basically bribing Qin with Tea and Heartless making an appearance to negotiate the profit he’ll garner from this business arrangement 😂😂😂.
I do have to wonder what Tan was going to do in their normal life, she’s not the type to sit around at home and wait for her husband to come home. Everyone else had plans for the future: Kui had her clinic, Feng and Qin had their assasin escort agency and Tan? I guess she was gonna help the boys with their business since she did help MQ with money schemes afterall 😅😉.Or maybe start a business of her own with Man. Now I wish they would have gotten the life they wanted well realistically they will eventually. Once the flower spirits are reborn they’ll have everything they ever wanted 😁👌.
The empress and her sidekick deserve the worst fate. Pos’ they are the ones who caused the second prince’s death. If the Empress wasn’t hellbent on killing the soul shards and harmed YT in the process maybe he would still be alive. But I guess we can’t acknowledge that can we? 🙄. Anyways I can’t wait to see them get their due and from what I heard it’s a good one.
Think I’ll rewatch the wedding scene to erase the pain of Man Man’s death. Oh and Ziwu & Di Lanjue were so cute this ep. Glad he found his fated one too.

I was rewatching ep 26 and while we all recognize Wenren when he shows up that ep( the clothes scene) he’s actuakky there in the last scene with Yetan. After she’s forced to play the Qin in front of everyone and it goes wrong. YQ follows YT and is scared of her reaction that’s Wenren lol. Then a sec later in that scene we see Heartless then Lamu.
He’s also there in ep 33 after Youqin and Yetan are married and they consume their marriage. Wenren to a T.
In ep 38. When he brings her, her favorite food that’s Wenren’s thoughtfulness.
If anyone can think of other places he shows up mention them. I think he’s the hardest to pinpoint 😂. But he’s there.

I was just thinking that Wenren is the shard that we see less of once Youqin is revived then it hit me. Not to take anything away from him because while I think all of the soul shards are equally in love with Yetan: I Kinda feel like Lamu and MQ love her the most. That’s why Wenren is seen less. Then it hit me: We actually see him more than I originally thought haha.

Me too. And yes thankfully they weren’t born from Ziwu. I think they will be born again soon tho as the flower came pretty soon. We all wanted that reunion, we did get it just not the way we wanted 😂. But at least it leaves us with hope.

Definitely, that’s why it’s so good ,because as you said before, every character had their own journey and relationships that they built aside from their love stories. It all worked so well in the end. You rarely see that in Xanxia’s

Everyone knew he was a dangerous hypocrite who expected his son to win all victories for him 🙄🔥. He was the true villain. I wish he would have died not by Tan's hands tho but oh well.
