Awesome points this can be seen in the opposite way with the first NH too. Maybe that one never loved SYM because she never made it hard for him to. In other words, he didn't go thru the pain of losing her and experiencing her cruelty like this one did. Hence, she made it easy, he never fought for her=never loved her and used her for his convenience.

I love her father. He never really pressured her either way just followed what she wanted. Since he sees that she loves Nan Heng, that he loves her back and he likes who NH is, he's fine with them being together. + How he put CGH in his place and told him those hard truths? *Applause.

did you watch ep 26 already? that's the turning point.

I think once the real villain is revealed the whole town will team up to fight them. and hopefully that's when CGH and NH can finally move forward and let go of the past.

dunno maybe that NH isn't the villain she always thought he was. or that he'll always protect her.

I'd hate that. I hate when the writers do this to horrible fathers. Just leave him like he is pls don't redeem his as some sense of a higher purpose and protecting his son. Like I've seen others do to horrible fathers in these dramas. he's an abusive pos.

NH is my kind of favorite protagonist when they start all emotionally cold even with violent tendencies but then when they fall in love they turn into these huge marshmallow types XD.

This. she definitely used tough love on him in ep 25 too to get him to be the man she knows him to be (even if part of her didn't believe he'd do it). And he did it, just hate him being punished again. I think SYM puts all those tough love moms to shame.

NR makes sense too. He is also becoming more of a villain.

I was just gonna ask in the comment section lol. They didn't say but I think it was the uncle since Song Yimeng was the one who exposed him in front of the full courtyard.

I do feel like they have a lot. LYN has had chemistry with all his costars. That makes him a great actor. LYT & LYN excel in their dramatic scenes together.
