I,like complicated FLs. It makes the story more interesting. I haven't watched FEUD tbh because it's going to take me awhile to get over BL & ARP. But I heard it wasn't that good tho. Some loved it and others were meh about it.

I fear it's going to get ugly in the comments after ep 23 because she's going to be understandably angry. very angry I have no doubt. He lied to her and betrayed her trust even more. But once she gets past that I think she'll finally trust that he's not the villain she thinks he is.

and not all the FL's are going to be like that. good. we don't want them to be the same. ADWAD is tied with MM for my favorites this year. It can get frustrating at times, but I haven't loved a drama like this after MM until now.

sigh, I guess the audience isn't ready for complicated female characters. The fact that these dramas are targeted mostly to a female audience is sad that a lot of them don't understand the FLs. In contrast in Moonlight mystique BL's character was loved because despite her initial distrust of the ML, she basically loved and trusted him instantly. I loved her character there. MM is my favorite Xianxia/Chinese drama, but I wish just like people love those type of FL characters they should maybe like or be more of all the others too.

Interesting but I really don't think original NH loved SYM.
1) He stabbed her on their wedding day
2) Used and abused her trust to get power by marrying her- I say this because it seems that NH wanted the marriage only to become the crown prince.
3) had an affair and seemingly fell in love with her sister.
4) let her fall to her death while saving her sister in front of her
5) massacred her entire family for power.

So, unless he was a complete puppet I just can't see that he loved her in the original script.
Also, now that NH does in fact love her, he acts completely differently. he's acted against every single point I mentioned above. But we'll see. it will be interesting if they go with that.

thank you. was BL's character hated as much as SYM is? Because I noticed a trend when the ML's characters are morally gray or antiheroes like NH, the audience seems to dislike how the FL acts towards them.

One point the 2ML blames the ML as much or even more than the ML blames him. For killing his aunt when the ML was also a child. If the ML can't blame the 2ML for being a child then the 2ML shouldn't either. They both dislike each other. so sorry can't agree with you that the 2ML is the one who has suffered the most because he hasn't. They all have in different ways.

You know there's another reason why Yimeng doesn't completely see Heng's real personality and how hero like he is in reality? It's maybe because oh I don't know...... He doesn't show her that side of him. He's only done it once when he asked her not to use her eyes to understand him. While manhandling her btw. Even Fugui has told him to be softer and not as rude towards her. How can we expect her to see behind the lines if he uses his fake, cruel persona when he's with her? Not easy and yet she's managed to see into him a little.

The only time he really shows her his vulnerable side and who he is as a person is when he's the masked version of LSL. The secret identity that she doesn't know he has mind you. Maybe when she knows the truth she'll trust him more because she'll see who he really is. After she gets past the initial betrayal of his lies of course.

I don't know why people watch something if they hate the characters. There's better stuff to watch if ADWAD isn't a liking.

the flying horse may be a dream, but we will see. The identity reveal will end one misunderstanding between them.

More people bashing the FL do yourself a favor and stop watching if she annoys you so much. There are more dramas out there that can be enjoyed aside from this one.

He said that Yimeng would never talk to LSL if she saw this. He lets his love for her blind his judgement for a moment. He'd rather not tarnish his LSL image so he can still get close to her rather than let her think there was something between him and her sister. Plus, he would basically expose himself if she did see them together. Ha I can think about that scene more rationally now. He did what he saw as the best outcome SYM already hates NH so better keep it that way. Still think he made a mistake but oh well.

I wonder if it's the same screenwriter? I saw that it's the same one from Moonlight Mystique and Story of Kunning Palace. MM's lead characters are nothing like these haha. I haven't watched SoKP so I don't know there.

You're right she is similar to Susu and you can say Heng is similar to Tantai Jin. TJ was pretty much misunderstood his whole life too, abused etc. He makes a lot of mistakes that make him look like the villain too.

I have a feeling NH will die inside the script world, but she'll find him in the real world. I saw a theory that the actor Nan Feng is actually Nan Heng that came to the real world for her. If they do that, that would be a nice twist.
