OMG! I can't wait for this to air. It may be tomorrow like when the clip of the kiss in ep 21 was released. And if it is she finally gave into her love for him.

I'm listening to the OSTs and my favorites are definitely:
1) Ballad of The Long Wind- Liu Yuning
2) Paper Person- Liu Yuning
3) A Dream Within a Scroll- Hu Yanbin

In the next episodes I really think so. Yeah, she's in love with a fictional character but she doesn't see him like that anymore either. He's very real to her. She just hasn't realized it yet.

Maybe that moment will happen close to the end. I think CGH's still about to do bad things before he sees who NH really is just like SYM. It's true that NH needs to be honest with those around him, who he loves so that they don't see him as a monster. The only people he's done this with are his Night Walkers and only behind a mask. I think he also has trust issues with people because of what his father and everyone else did to him when he was a child. He also doesn't trust anyone that causes problems for him. IA NH & CGH need to sit down and have a long talk.

Why do people keep missing SYM's growth these episodes? Yes she was unnecesarrily cruel in the begging of ep 23 that I was just rolling my eyes but we got to remember she didn't know what really happened yet. Can't really blame her for not seeing the changes when things are still the same when it comes to the plots in the original script. She still protected him against the emperor she wanted to out his forging weapon plan but didn't. As for her anger in ep 24 it makes sense. It's funny how everyone keeps ignoring NH's lies because he's suffering. Had she done the same, pretended to be someone else and lied to his face every time he encountered her second identity everyone would hate her and call her trash.
Yet after she finds out he's LSL she accepts her feelings for him, protects him against CGH and wants to warn him when she sees the guards come to WC. But he's gone by that point. Also, the way she defended him with his nightwalkers and told them that he didn't mean what he said because NH wanted to protect them. Old SYM wouldn't have done that. But I guess that doesn't matter right? Nah because she's not falling on NH's feet by now. Honestly she's not there yet but she's getting there.

Hmm good question because LSL exists before she enters the story. He didn’t in the original one so it means that when she transmigrated whoever is changing the original script was already making those changes. Yimeng coming in only made those changes bigger.

This is definitely Liu Yuning’s best drama to date. At least to me it is. I loved TPoB but AFWAD is something special. Perfect mix between comedy, angst, tragedy, plot, character moments etc. it’s not without its flaws but I can look past them and just enjoy. and I love NH so much too. Heng is his best character up to now.

Since the script/script writer is the real villain all of the villains in the story will probably be redeemed to fight against the bigger evil.

He’s not recognizing his internal flaws right know tho.,he did at first but now he’s throwing that aside to concentrate on his hatred. Maybe I’ll change my mind later but right now I don’t see him as more as annoying.

Sigh he lied to her. His lies weren’t simple. If she had lied to him and pretended to be someone else she would be the worst. But since it’s NH his lies don’t matter. I guess you missed the part where she protected him even after discovering his second identity. and even told his night walkers that he didn’t mean his cruelty towards them because he wanted to protect them old sym would have never said that. But I guess none of that matters because she’s stupid and horrible right?

I saw a bts of the wedding so it's def coming. I'm just impatient to see how we get there haha. Oh, interesting I like when they reuse the same actors. Feng Gui was also in TPoB with LYN. All 3 must have loved to work together again.

her character development is there.

His actions make me see him as disgusting. maybe he is unraveling but he's so blinded by hatred that he refuses to see the truth. he just wants to get rid of NH without any evidence and when someone tells him he may be wrong he just closes off. That's turning him into a vile person even he himself said this. Does he care? No.

Seeing as the iconic wedding scenes are still coming it means that SYM chooses to marry him out of choice because she wants to. The emperor dissolved the engagement so unless NH ropes SYM back in (which wouldn't surprise me tbh) it's her choice to marry him later on or attempt to marry him, because if it happens similarly to ep 1 they won't get married yet. Curious to see how we get there because we're definitely not past the angst yet.

ep 24 was so good. It's funny how some on here are guilty of the same thing you guys accuse Song Yimeng of doing. Not looking behind the lines. Did you miss that she protected Nan Heng more than once in this episode even after knowing Heng blatantly lied to her. She even said that he used cruelty with the nightwalkers to push them away to keep them safe, but he didn't mean it. Would old SYM have said that? NO. She sees him now. But some are so blinded by their hatred for her that they don't see that development. Also notice she said that she loves NH and when SYT asked her later: alluding that she does love him she didn't deny. it. She's angry understandably. His lies as LSL weren't little ones and if we add in how she's still blinded by the script.... Which yes, I wish she would let go of but that's not going to happen anytime soon sadly. Love how the Song sisters basically acted like NH & SH' wives to save both of them. CGH is disgusting he really is turning into the villain just like the uncle.
The reveal scene was heart wrenching esp because LYT and LYN were so good in it! My heart hurt watching that scene. Sigh that cliff now we wait til tomorrow. + Song Yiting was amazing this ep love how she knocked some sense into Yimeng.

I fear the comments are going to get even more ugly after ep 23. esp when SYM doesn't react to NH's lies the way some want her to. I may skip coming on here later. If I do, I'll just post my thoughts and go lol.

I don't know. Li Landi is one of my favorite actresses and I love ARP since MM but same problem as with FEUD. If I do watch it, I may do it later. I saw that it was only 32 episodes everything had to be rushed in the end. Some dramas deserve more eps esp if they are Xianxias. FEUD was one of them.

I think you're confusing Yiting with the FL she's not. Yimeng is the FL. They mean the sister the one who drugged LSL. They do have similar names after all.
