Nan Heng was acting like LSL in ep 26. Because that's who he really is. Now that Song Yimeng knows the truth about both his persona's he doesn't have to hide under his fake cruel persona anymore. Maybe he won't do it with the other people either anymore since the whole of the city probably knows that NH is LSL. Liu Yuning is such a master at acting the way he was innocently and sweetly portraying NH he even looked younger because of how vulnerable he was being.

Originally, I thought the cliff jump idea was going to be Nan Heng's but that it was actually Song Yimeng's to save both of their lives was hilarious.

"No way I'll trust you." - pushes him off (YELLS)
"Holy, crap why is it so high up?" lol

CGH is showing his true colors with his hatred for NH. He's lost SYM forever so he's getting worse.

You'll like the rest of ep 26. It was good.

I love the choice SYM makes this episode when she's faced with two: run or go back. If anyone doubts that she loves Nan Heng after this then IDK what to say. She chose her heart and all that comes with it btw. Even when she's cruel in the beginning of the ep by LYT's acting you can tell how much Yimeng loves Heng and hates him in that moment too. Esp when she realizes he's hurt. Then she gets taken and it all kicks off.

BOOOM there it is what some were still waiting for. He's not a villain to her anymore, he's just the man she learned to see because of his LSL persona and the one she loves of course. Also, how hysterical she gets when she thinks he's dead. Feelings pouring out everywhere.

The more we see glimpses of the first NH the more I get why SYM wasn't able to trust him at all. He was certainty a user and the villain she saw him as. It finally looks like she can see past old NH to the one she loves. Although I'm sure the evil script writer will throw a wrench in there when CGH says NH killed his uncle. He's turning eviler by the minute. Even the other general was shocked by CGH's thoughts. That says a lot.

The emperor needs to die a painful death. No redemption for him pls. Another thing that I liked about eps 25 & 26 is the Yimeng's father doesn't hate Heng anymore, no he seems to like what he sees now.

Episode 26 the episode those haters and Yimeng doubters were waiting for! Pure masterpiece. I think we're in for them falling even more in love with each other from now on. With some hiccups along the way of course but man was ep 26 good.

they gave him a good script in ADWAD. I hope after this one he continues to get good roles.

OMG I can't wait for that! May be after they get married tho. I hope it's before and sooner than that.

His character is pretty awesome here and Riley has great chemistry with Liu Yuning too. I saw him in some of Choice Husband man was that drama a mess. I dropped it lol.

I think it's her again. There's a trailer with a clip that has her pushing him and telling him to stop clinging on to her. Then they show him crying. He's wearing the clothes from ep 26 if that happens before or after the cliff I have no idea. Hopefully it's before. Preparing myself for the onslaught SYM hatred after these eps too. Honestly, I'm so tired.

I'm wondering what will happen once Yimeng finally let's go of the original script and gives in to her feelings for NH will those who refuse to see behind the lines with her not hate her anymore? or will they find another reason to hate her? The blatant hate for SYM on here is so tiring to read every single day.

Her name is Song Yimeng not Song Yiting. He loves her because in this version of the script he never met the scripted SYM. She went back in time, so this NH never met og SYM or at least never had real interactions with that version of her. From what we know.
I love how some make it out to be nothing that he lied to her, but if she had done the same with a second identity everyone would hate her and trash her. I don't count her real world idenity a second one because that world is irrelevant right now. Nah he gets a pass just because he's NH. Don't get me wrong I love him too, but you can't erase his mistakes just like SYM's can't be. She's made tons yes but so has he. As for planning murder I remember him doing the same in the first episodes.

I haven't mentioned it before, I think, but I love the friendship between NH and SH. SH is exactly the friend Nan Heng needed in his darkest of times. Both would go lengths to protect the other. Although, SH did create a mess for NH when he impersonated him with SYT XD. But anyways they have such a great friendship.

Will always be my #1 Xianxia/CD drama ever! for 2025 it's tied with ADWAD as my favorites of the year. I miss Fan Yue and Bai Shou

These episodes are going to be so good! Looks like SYM will finally let go of her prejudice against the script because she's learning to trust NH more. I hope that people stop hating her once the story starts turning around which may really start in tomorrow's eps. Tho I think we still have some angst (Yimeng still being messy) to get thru.

rewatching closer it looks like they are wearing night clothes/robes so whoever guessed that this is probably after they get married may be right. then yeah maybe around the 30's eps. We'll see

It will probably be eps 34/36-40 that’s how they’ve done it with other dramas.

I wonder if they’ll do what they did in The Romance of Tiger and Ronce where he was transported into the script to but isn’t awaken until the real world and he remembers everything when he wakes up in the real world. So many theories out there.

Yep. she's lost when it comes to him XD.
I hope she could stay in that world she seems happier there. But of course since its Transmigration she'll come back to the real world.
