Yes, this is more like The Untamed than MM. Which is why I was interested watch it. TU another of my favorites. Don't think it has any real similarities to MM, just the costumes since they are from the same person.
From ep 3 is their Backstory but first 2 will be their current life. Also SYS remain SYS. there is no first life…
Really? because the synopsis says that he loses his memory. I guess that's wrong. Anyway, I guess if he doesn't die. There's no second life for him but for her yes.
Tonight, the episodes drop for me! can't wait. excited + I'm missing Moonlight Mystique so much. I need a new drama to obsess over, and I think this will be it.
EDIT. Just watched the 6 eps preview even without subs I can understand a little. I'm wondering if this will follow the tradition of The Blossoming Love and Moonlight Mystique where it will start with their second life and then go back in the last episodes to show their first life as a background story to fit the pieces together? hmm.

Just saw the new trailer. Looks really good! Even more excited. I think after Moonlight Mystique, this one is going to end up being one of my favorites of the year.
Just realized that Chu Yui Bin and Gu Zhi Wei are the directors of 3 of my most favorite xianxia/dramas! They are so good at what they do: Moonlight Mystique, The Starry Love, and The Blue Whisper. Can't find real fault with any of those dramas. All 10/10 from me. Looking forward to their upcoming stuff, particularly Fated Hearts, to see if they end up being more of my favorites.
Back to 8.6 good! Now if it could only go to 8.7/8.8 or above because it's what it really deserves. But for now, happy that it went back up. ps. Rewatching The Blue Whisper forgot how painful it can get but one of my favorites. Def as emotional as MM in certain areas. And Chang Yi is another one of those ML's who will do anything for the woman he loves, even if he's more toxic (for a reason) than FY. Yunhe's "betrayal" is very similar to Xing Yue's. The length these women go to protect the man that they love even if that's not the correct way, sigh.
