yeah, they are the healthiest too. I loved them so much when TSL was airing. MM and TSL are from the same director(which I didn't know at first lol) hence why there are similarities both in the love stories and plot points.

It's going to be hard for ARP to have the chemistry he did with BL with someone else. I feel this way with BL too. Tho she has chem with everyone her chemistry with ARP hits different. I'll probably check it out but later after it airs maybe. That video... I had a feeling he wouldn't remember her at first but in the end I think FY will be back. Whether he merges with JY or JY leaves him to it.

I'll never understand why they didn't. The director also directed TSL so he better give us a satisfactory ending. Not fail us like he did with TSL. I guess in SOKP he did the right thing, hopefully he does it here too.

In a bts for TSL they showed that they actually filmed YQ & YT reuniting after her death but for some reason they chose not to air that UGH. I could live with the ending because it was hopeful but after everything, they went thru they deserved more.

she is a very good actress. Loved her in TSL and Love of Nirvana. But I see why some may not like her acting style. I think she will be a good fit for ARP. But yes, that seems more like a thriller, horror, mystery with a little bit of romance in it.

If anyone hasn't seen The Starry Love, I highly recommend it! It would be a great watch after MM. Youquin and Yetan are alot like Yue and Shou. Their love goes thru a lot of obstacles, but they manage every one of them as a team.

I think Coroner's Diary with Landy Li(love her) is coming soon. Tho the romance doesn't seem as prominent in that one. We will see.

I second this. TSL was my favorite before MM but not MM has gotten an edge over TSL. The Starry Love was so tragic in the end but their love was beautiful too. I just hope we get an HEA instead of an OE like in TSL.

They’ll always be my number one Xianxia’s couple. Followed by The Starry’s Love one. I’ll probably find others I like but not like these two.

Yeah. It’s best for her to explore that way she becomes even better at what she does. Like you, I can’t really see her leaving this genre completely but taking a break which is good. After she grows more in other genres and explores,I have no doubt she’ll return.

I'm glad she did MM before she moves on. She gave us one of the best xanxia dramas out there. Tho I'm not too sure if it is an idol drama, she's a traffic star but he's not yet. Can't blame her in wanting to move on, she's smart and talented smart actresses can't be stuck in a box forever. She might return to this genre sometime. Plus, her upcoming drama is still an idol drama, or considered one. I think the one she's currently filming is too. I just hope her agency allow her to move on like she wants to.

I think Xing Yue did love Jing Yuan as much as he loved her. IShou and Yue's love as much as it is theirs is also guided from their past lives. Their second chance as you will. Meaning in my mind Bai Shou wouldn't love Fan Yue the way she does had she not loved him in the exact same way in the past. I might be wrong, but I don't think JY would have spent so many years waiting for her, had their love not been true. I feel like what we see in the opening was Xing Yue's misguided attempt to protect Jing Yuan from whatever she was facing. Did she have to go to those extremes? Prob not but that was the only way she could think of in the moment. She had to break him in order for him not to follow her.
I've seen spoiler clips where XY is fighting Mo Li and that is what leads to her death. I feel like that's why she does what she does. She did not want JY in that fight. I also get the sense that she was a princess in this version. Like the men in ALP and TLI she probably shouldered the weight of the world on her shoulders. It was that before love and in the end they both paid for it.
Whatever happened tho, we're about to find out.
