This actor really has that wicked smirk that makes him look evil, and yet adorable because of this particular character he's playing.

Yes, anyone would want a daughter like her, positive, compassionate, devoted. The father plays a very important role in having a child like that. Imagine if she were born to Qi Ming Yue's mother, she's doomed.

Only when one grows old then one'd would want to return to the old days.

So agree with you in everything you say here. Yes, technically, Ling Xiao has stalked Jian Jian for 9 years through Ming Yue.

I believe Zi Qiu will end up with Ming Yue eventually for the following reasons:
- she has seen him naked (kind of)
- like you said, she has a crush on him while they were at school. But at that time, Zi Qiu was emotionally undeveloped for boy/girl stuff and couldn't get Ming Yue's hints (like giving him water, food etc). Also Ming Yue's mom has asked her to go for Ling Xiao because he is a better choice.
- when both are rejected in love (by Ling Xiao and Jian Jian), they're going to bond with each other
- Ling Xiao's little sister is too young - too big an age difference, so don't think they can blossom romantically.

Let's enjoy this wonderful drama.

Same here. I had thought this was only going to be a filler drama for me, but it's so good that I can't stop watching. Now, I'm so behind with my other dramas. A lot of catching up to do :)

No doubt there will be heart aches for Zi Qiu initially, but I think he'd overcome it with Ming Yue (who is also suffering) by his side. Zi Qiu seems to be a character who can withstand a lot of pain (like his parents think he's a mistake and a burden). I love the Zi Qiu character so much.

Perhaps you are looking at her as a 30 year old actor acting as a 15 year old teenager. I've asked people who don't know Seven Tan to guess her age. All the answers I got was she's 15. So if you try to imagine her as a 15 year old with all the cuteness and innocence, you may feel differently :)

Love those bear hugs and unreserved kissing. So adorable! Too bad (or good?) people grow up and don't do these anymore. I miss their youthfulness.

I believe Qi Ming Yue is going to be involved in the triangle too. She and Zi Qiu will blossom romantically since she was more fond of Zi Qiu initially at school. Only her mom told her to go for Ling Xiao because of his good grades and better potential than Zi Qiu. She gets closed to Ling Xiao over the years because he wants news of Jian Jian who barely speaks to him.

I know it was an accident. He cares for the family so much that he only looks at them from afar because he doesn't want them to know yet he's back; he wants to surprise them. But the way they make him wearing a hoodie covering most of his face, doing the stalking and all the creepy stuff, really leave a nasty taste in my tongue. I know it means to be funny, but who would ever feel funny with a stalker? I wish they have done something else silly for him. But this part (the creepiness) is over. It's going a fun ride ahead.

Why do they make He Zi Qiu look like a pervert? So unfair. I love Zi Qiu. He's a rare person with true heart.

I feel that from the very beginning when the children met, Jian Jian was more fond of Ling Xiao than with He Zi Qiu (she thought his mom was replacing her mom, she even bit him). She seems to be more embarrassed talking to Ling Xiao now than with Zi Qiu because she's still treating Zi Qiu more like a sibling than with Ling Xiao whom to her is now an old neighbor. My projection is, she would fall in love with Ling Xiao who is already loving her romantically (he said he'd marry her), whereas Zi Qiu would be heart broken and becomes close with Qi Ming Yue who will also be heart broken (she is in love with Ling Xiao), and their romance blossoms (she has seen him naked, well almost naked. Also Ming Yue was interested in Zi Qiu initially at school but he was too thick to notice.) Then the 'movie star' will also go out with the glasses guy who may have owned the apartment.

Episodes 1 - 11 are absolutely adorable and touching. Episodes 13 onward, seems it's going to become multiple love triangles :(
