I feel exactly the same. Everything seems rushed or not enough dialogue. It's like Rong Hua loves Nalan Yue but…
The dialogues are all simplistic and the logic is all wrong. The plot is confusing and inconsistent. It's definitely the scriptwriters' and the director's fault. The actors are just following. Having said that, I'm not a fan of Zhang Hui Wen - she's like a block of wood (sorry fans).
The lead actors are famous, just the ML is perhaps too mature for the liking of most fans who would have preferred…
The Liu Yi Kang character is supposed to be mature. That's why Shen Li Ge keeps addressing him as "Old Man". Can't imagine if they get a young 20 something idol to play this role. It would have been a disaster.
You can tell people are so biased. This drama is outstanding and getting better and better. It is rated so low…
The lead actors are famous, just the ML is perhaps too mature for the liking of most fans who would have preferred idol actors. Sad indeed because Qin Hao is very good. I love him in this series.
This man looks great in costume. He knows how to make his presence while walking. It happens in all his dramas!…
I ditched all Allen Ren's dramas previously, including Under The Power. Then there wasn't anything to watch so I gingerly picked up Under The Power. Bam! Everything is history. Allen Ren is awesome as Lu Yi in that uniform. Now I'm a fan.
Is it just me?! But I'm finding really hard to fallow the plot! Also when is Hua going to understand that actually…
No, not just you. I'm confused by how I should feel when watching. The plot is simple, but the acting and scenes that supposed to draw our emotions are pretty messed up. When it's supposed to be sad, I can't feel sadness. When it's supposed to be angry, I can't feel anger either. I don't know if I should hate Mo Huan and Ron Jing Feng or not. Mo Huan is supposed to be the atrocious monster but yet, I haven't seen her living to that title - she's been kind to almost everyone. Ron Jing Feng is supposed to be hideous and murderous. Yes, that I can see but then he has mixed feelings for his daughters. Sometimes, he wants to kill them, sometimes he is fatherly to them. I don't know if his human side is real or faked. He is simply confusing. On top of that, Zhang Hui Wen's acting is ... meh.
Thoughts on the ending everyone? I was surprised, but also in a way it made sense. Wasn't what I expected or thought…
It's a happily-ever-after ending. She has been his rightful bride all along. All the peripheral characters are very quickly concluded with little elaboration. The focus is on the OTP. Interesting to hear what you have expected :)
The logic? Sigh.
The plot? Inconsistent.
Shoot! All the misses; it's agonizing!
