That's one trait about most Chinese youngsters - they always listen to their elders (parents, shifus etc). Even if everything the elders say don't make sense or painful, the kids still obey whatever they're being told. It's painful to watch obedience like this.

This is so true. Translating this drama is not easy because it uses a lot of old words and sentences. Many of those channels rely on volunteers. Such volunteers are normally bilingual kids and using google translate or auto translate can butcher the actual sentences and meaning of the story.
