I think we may be quite similar in drama taste. I can't take dark humor either because it makes my heart stop. Recently, I completed 2 rom-coms. Nothing spectacular but pretty funny and cute. It so confusing. I haven't seen Mo Huan does anything horrible to anyone except those that deserve it, but everyone calls her a monster and vows to kill her. Are they trying to portray how herd mentality works? People just follow without questioning, including Nalan Yue? Lin Ruo Han has a confusing relationship with Mo Huan - on one hand, she hates her, on the other, she obeys her. And with Mo Huan, despite Lin Ruo Han's betrayal, she still 'cares' for her. All this confusion has not been cleared even after Lin Ruo Han's death. Is it supposed to be a mystery, or is it bad writing? I'm so confused.

I do too (staying alive) because Mo Huan is my favorite character - so badass, but age is catching up with her (she's over 100 years old), so we'll see.

Well, it's kind of like a breakup because Ron Hua accuses him and that hurts him. That's what most lovers do. But in this case, they break up and make up again.

I'm like you, confused with how I should feel when watching the characters. Just need to plow on without questioning the plot too much. From a bird's eye view, it (the plot) is not that complicated, but the execution of it is confusing.

Back together and break up again for a different event that happens, and then back together again :)
