Either my standard is very low or this is really a cute drama, I find it rather enjoyable. The narcissism is hilarious.

The ending shows Zuo Qing Ci is miraculously cured, presumably Su Yun Luo has found a cure for him as she promises. Many viewers are dumbfounded by this but nonetheless, this is what the ending implies, with the little girl who looks exactly like Su Yun Luo running around with her candy, complaining to Bai Mo that her parents are fighting over trivial matters. The little boy is of course a Zuo Qing Ci look-alike. Projecting into the future, the 2 kids would fall in love, and there, continues another new generation of adventure.

Yes, her mark would appear when she gets wet, but she took it out and now healed without the mark.

Xu Kai is so beautiful, especially when he's sleeping. That face ..... ahhhh .... I can stare at him day and night.

Thanks for the explanation. Yeah, in some conversation, Wu Xie did mention that Qiling is over 100 years old. He feels like a robot to me because he is physically beyond human. Also in some clips, he looks like a computer generated character - super good looking and does all the dangerous stunts and beautiful moves.

Yeah, same here. I don't like Sally Jing too. Dropped most of her dramas. Picked this up because I realized it's based on historical events.

Is Zhang Qiling a robot? He doesn't feel human. Sorry I ask because I've never watched the other series.

At first I thought those statues look European, but upon closer look, they're figurines with Chinese features. Weird though because I've never seen these in other Chinese palaces. Wonder if this is how it actually looks like in real life.

This drama is good, but the latest episodes become rather draggy. I love the 2 main leads' romance, but at the moment, everyone is just fooling around.

Yes, I love Wu Jia Yi's portrayal of Su You Lian. She is an amazing and beautiful actor. Su You Lian is naive as compared to the cunning human race, but she doesn't lose that dignity even when she's being bullied, and Wu Jia Yi brings this charisma out so well. Bravo!
