Wow! This is a beautiful halfway review! Love what you've written here, especially when you say, "...... a cup…
We're only half-way through, so it cannot be the HEA yet. So I would expect their ups and downs that would strengthen their relationship. This is a good sign because I believe it's going to be very funny too, imagining Qian Wei tries to act bossy and Lu Xun dotes on her in every possible way :D
Surprisingly, at first I was really hesitant about the casting as someone who's already read the novel first.…
Wow! This is a beautiful halfway review! Love what you've written here, especially when you say, "...... a cup of tea that gently warms your heart over time......." So wonderfully put. Bravo!
initially, I thought "legally romance" (just cause they are law students) how will the title define the story…
Hahaha, you're so right about all these law students XD. I almost missed this drama because I thought it was an office romance in a law firm. But I really love the silliness of Qian Wei, and Lu Xun goes along with her. Having said that, probably it would go back to office romance when Qian Wei comes back to present time.
For me, I have preferred the fighting part than the dating part :D
yes, yes, yes :D That's how I feel about Lu Xun too. The way he looks at Qian Wei, the way he answers her, he's so funny that he doesn't know it himself :D I really love that!
first 2 episodes were pretty weak and poorly written imo. I feel like I'm watching a run of the mill sub-average…
Finally someone agrees with me. Yes, that's the feeling I get too - run-of-the-mill sub-average. Poor scripts, poor dialogues, unnatural acting, too heavy makeup by Yang Zi. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a hater. I'm Xiao Zhan's and Yang Zi's fan. I watch a few of their previous dramas. Just this one, it's poorly executed.
