Most actors get less popular as they age, but Allen gets hotter and hotter as he grows, older I mean XD. I remember watching his old dramas like the Tang Dynasty series. My goodness! They were quite unbearable. They didn't choose proper pairing. Allen's hairdo was always like wearing a helmet. His pairing with Bai Lu is the best so far as they both have very similar charisma. Yes, Allen is getting better looking as he ages :)
Cheng Yi absolutely aces it in playing miserable roles. Like the Si Feng (LAR) and Xiao Cheng Xu (Promise of Chang'an) characters, Qi Yan is so painful to watch - helpless and hopeless.

Realistically I believe many people have told such lies because they don't want to upset the other partner. Though not encouraged, it is understandable because everyone has the fear of losing something. Huang Jun knows it's not appropriate to go watch the movie with the other girl because he knows how much Tao Tao feels threatened by her, but he has a simple and straight mind that doesn't think too deeply. In western culture, this innocent act of going to watch a movie together is very normal, but in more conservative society like China, it's seen as almost like unfaithful from Huang Jun's part, which is not actually the case. Huang Jun has not been unfaithful; he's just a simple minded jerk :D

I don't think Huang Jun cheats on Qiu Le Tao. In the hospital, we see the other girl tries to hold on to his hand but he tries to break free from her grip. He lies to Tao Tao about the movie because he's scared upsetting Tao Tao; he doesn't know how to explain to her so he chooses lying - this is what many boys tend to do because boys normally don't think too much of the repercussion, they're pretty simple minded, as shown in Huang Jun here. As for the food he brings to the hospital for the other girl, I think that's because he's worried that she cannot perform in the concert that same evening; she's their lead singer and she must get well fast to perform. I think that's all to it in the relationship as far as Huang Jun is concerned, though the girl comes on to him quite forcefully - it's just one-sided, and Huang Jun should not be punished too harshly though he needs a good lesson.

The love and affections are through their eyes and suppressed facial expressions. Both leads' styling, especially Ren Jia Lun's, is simply so natural and aesthetic. If you are checking this drama out, this is a MUST-WATCH!
