You’re not alone. I thought it was a snoooze fest. It felt like a filler episode. I think I’m going to wait…
So accurate about music, it felt empty sometimes. I am debating whether to continue watching or to wait towards the end. I guess I will see how it goes tomorrow..
Am I the only one who didn't enjoy the first episode much? I was really looking forward to it, and I love both leads, but I found myself not invested by the end of the first episode...
Haven’t watched an ongoing romcom drama in while coz of the heartbreak I got from Yumi’s Cells and Monthly…
Not related to CE, but I loved Yumi’s Cells! Those cells were so cute :) I kind of felt like knowing why things were hapenning was helpful to accept what was hapenning.
can you guys please recommend me dramas with male lead like Seonjae?
From my experience, there are not many rom-coms that are as lightly and nicely written and filmed as Lovely Runner. True Beauty matches the style, as they come from the same writer. So, the recommendations below are somewhat different in style and genre. 1. Park Hyungsik dramas: Doctor Slump, Soundtrack #1, Happiness, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. His characters tend to be supportive and very warm towards the FL. 2. First Love: Hatsukoi - it's Jdrama about fated love. 3. I second Castaway Diva - it's one of the best 2023 dramas for me. 4. Lovestruck in the City - while often overlooked because of a new concept, I appreciated the way leads explained their decisions and feelings through interviews. Also chemistry is amazing, 5. Marry My Husband - this is a revenge drama with nice but more introverted ML. 6. When I Fly Towards You - very sweet, coming out of age Cdrama. 7. I second Someday or One Day - it's a masterpiece.
He has the memories of all the timelines he has lived, including the timeline they all are in now. It's just that…
Yeah, I was thinking the same after finishing the drama — that he remembers all of his lives and was wondering if that does not create conflicts in his mind and confusion in his life. In a way, remembering things connected to Sol only is simpler, but I am not sure how that works since he seemed to spend a lot of his time thinking of and loving her. Remembering things that are only in the script might be the easiest of all.
He might have 3 lifetimes' worth of memories, but Sol's script+ clock only unlocked the memories he had with her…
True, also in his chats with Tae Sung and Sol's family, he brings up memories from the timeline where they spend the most time together.
It seems like somehow he selectively chose what to focus on as his present life, maybe indeed looking at it from Sol's perspective based on the script.
I wonder how present Sunjae combines all the timelines together. Somehow, his lives were all different although connected with Sol. It's easier for Sol because, for her, although she went to the past, time is linear. Sunjae actually lived (and now remembers) through all 15 years three times, while Sol only lived once and jumped through the rest.
