There are theories and speculation, but there is no explanation so far. We will either see it explained in the drama, or not.

I for one do think the narrative acknowledges it and we will see an explanation. But I hope against hope after it's revealed what's so special about GZY, that GSJ can at least have one chance to point out to Elders, Jin Fan, GZY and Xue people--preferably at some big ass gathering where they are all present, that they made all kinds of exceptions, rules-bending, and cheating for GZY.

I've already written way too many paragraphs on how much GSJ is correct with the exception of question Gong Lineage, which even then I suspect is something was deliberately spread as a cover.

It's one thing that GZY inherited because no was there (which I believe was orchestrated). It's another to agree to uphold passing requirements, and then bend rules, use shady loopholes, and cheat to let him pass.

I do understand that he's already SW, and may not be possible to take that back. However, at least acknowledge once to GSJ or let GSJ point out to them all that everyone helped GZY cheat and break rules.

There is a good number of people in the comments who are on the same page as you (I am one of them). And then there are others who don't really see it this way. But your (our) view on this is shared by others, as well.

That's his lineage, and I mentioned earlier that imo that line of work is the most cruel line of work out of the four lineages. It kind of requires a sort of cruelty not needed for others. However, he is definitely immature, as SJ keeps telling him as well.

Yes, thank you for clarifying as I don't really bother to rewatch episodes. I wasn't sure which kid it was bullying. I always thought it was GYZ that was outright bullying and being mean, and not GSJ.

Nevertheless, GSJ obviously didn't hang around, play with his GZY. I think that kid (GYZ), if I'm remembering correctly from the first flashback, said brother GSJ said GZY was not Gong, and illegitimate. So he was contributing a bit.

I do think this rumor was spread deliberately and it's not really wrong for him to want to make sure it's indeed Gong lineage. However, he is not kind to GZY either probably a mix of various reasons.

He was definitely carried away here, and admitted his own mistake in being rash and probably too confident/excited.

??? Are you talking about the scene of the first episode where WeFeng said weapons are fewer than inventory? I thought that was exactly what he reported, it means they have set out for the wedding (which is secret), so it's confirmed that the wedding is coming up... a convo for the pharmacist to hear.

Can someone please explain to me what happened to the real Mr. Xiao. I stopped watching within the first 10 episodes, maybe 7 or 8, because it wasn't like the real Mr. Xiao and she hated each other, but rather they knew each other from childhood. And while his acquiescing demeanor towards her changed, so much of the relationship with new Mr. Xiao was still built on the foundation of how much trust and comfort she has with the real Xiao.

I tried today to kind of skip through the last episode to see if there was any explanation, but I didn't see it.

Even YZ is hinted to have more behind his persona. What he told SGQ about truth potion, and his reaction when told he should undergo the trials.

Sj is not more depth than it seems, rather imo has been portrayed from the start as having depth.

He first asked for a break/some time (presumably because he wanted to deal with the family curse/illness). Then broke up with her when she showed up at his flat. But later when she proposed assuring him she knows about his sickness (which he thinks is now cured) he didn't reject her and kind of doubled down when he figured out the puzzle. He should try to end it soon for all their sakes.

Yes, and I especially like that the length is almost an hour. I feel like for such genres, this is the best format. Plus C-Dramas are produced and edited before hand, so with scriptwriting and good director who sticks to vision, there could be so many gems without having to deal with fandoms and ratings.

(Though that being said, I have seen (or at least what are claimed as) issues with fandoms/antis reacting to take down dramas and cause/try to cause controversy--forcing makers to panic and change things even if they passed review.)

Man, am I glad this is only 24 episodes and is airing daily, and we'll get to the end in like two more weeks.

By the way, where does SJ tell HY, which I assume you meant YZ, that when time comes he will give him a hand? SJ only gave away that it was Ice Pool in order to explain the actions of ZY and YWS--and even then, he clarified that he doesn't think he told him anything and so many rules were already broken.

We also don't know how much time passed between first meeting and wedding. If he wasnt SW, it would have to be at least 3 years, so most simple answer is probably is the best answer. What you said, he wasnt supposed to leave...

They are all cousins. They they have different sub-lineages. The siblings, full or half, are within the same lineage, and even there, they would also have first and closer cousins than all the main characters are to each other. But women have trouble conceiving so the descendents are not as numerous as they would be otherwise.

So he wasn't SW yet.

Think Wufeng existed even before that. Anonymous was sent 22 years ago. He may be involved but wufeng vs Gong is much older.
