It's actually never stated clearly whether Mr. Gong drank it or not. She asked him, and he asked if he wasn't supposed to have done so, she freaks out, and he reacts to her freak out. Even when telling SY, she says "Mr. Gong 'might' have drunk some.

If she says the stalker guy drank a lot, then it's possible Mr. Gong didn't drink any. Or maybe he only drank a little bit, and that's why he was more understanding to her when she asked for the day off.

I do think the direction in that episode was off when she questioned Gong, because she almost turned the tumblr upside down and shook it, if I'm remembering correctly.

Anyway. Another thing, why was she carrying that tumblr around even days afterwards? Could have stored it safely at home.

Yes, I agree. SML was doing what anyone would do when coming across them. He reprimanded both of them. And then afterwards, once he gets some vague explanation and assurances, exerts authority because HJ herself is still pursuing him and they are both aware of it.

Actually, that was form GSJ's perspective. GHY is told by the SW while GSJ is still there to bring her so he can interrogate her himself.

Exactly, Like, bro, he's not the one falling for set-up meetings designed to have him pick out specific bride. He very much suspects both of them. And he's also not the one giving away information carelessly.

Agreed with all except the SML. She is actively trying to get together with him. At first, he was correct in pointing out that JSY has a gf. So he's not wrong to mention that. Afterwards, he is butting in because she also keeps the romantic line open with him. They had that sort-of date just a few days earlier, and she doesn't hide that she likes him and keeps hinting, saying things about couples to him.

Placebo effect would be bad writing. You can't base and start the story on such a premise, dedicate like two episodes to the OTT reactions, and then retcon, hoodwink the audience. You either have the creativity to develop it from that premise, or don't do it at all. It's just stupid all around. Some fans may want it because it's more 'romantic' to think it's all because he liked her from the beginning.

Also in terms of these two characters, there's also the past lives, which even that I feel wouldn't justify him suddenly falling in love. You still need to have a legitimate journey and reasoning for love in this life too.

Yes, she intentionally misled at first and left a pause before clarifying. I didn't mean to say she didn't first intentionally say the statement to put the blame on HJ, just meant that she did that in a very sly manner. Putting that out there...leaving a pause (perhaps to show HJ her place, perhaps to see if SY would react against HJ), to only then clarify. We are on the same page.

I think he meant that JK likes her for real. Could be wrong, but if he knew it were just the spell he would probably taunt her with that in his jealousy that JK's is not real, either.

I think as a guy, he could tell that JK liked her.

She did follow it with "you moved me" clarifying it wasn't due to meanness. However, she is very a very sly, crafty woman. Shady as hell. Making sure to try to show that they are friends so she can unleash hell by labeling HJ as back-stabbing friend, just in case anything happens with Shin-Yu and Hong-Jo.

Only thing is that JSY watched the CCTV from when she sneaked in and poured the water into the glass to when he himself drank it. If SML had drunk it, JSY would've seen it and mentioned it. Especially since he's so jealous.

I agree. He went with the flow when she proposed to him. But after he figured out the puzzle, he was kind of be determined to prove the 'destiny' wrong and double down on his match with his gf/fiance.

But by now, he's realized how uncomfortable he is now with his fiance, so he should break up soon. He himself is very aware that it's not all the spell, just won't admit it out loud--but it's clear he's realizing it.

Hell will break lose when he breaks up with her. She's very sly. But even so, the longer this goes on, the more unfair it is to her.

No, I'm going to say something which will not make people happy. And I could be wrong. But the plan was to have GZY become the SW (possibly since it would be easier for the assassins to complete the task). Which is why I keep saying GSJ isn't wrong, and to say GSJ is unqualified is just taking up for ML for the sake of it.

So the only question was whether GHY was involved somehow, or the plan was to kill him as well. But it turns out in spoilers he was only fake dead, I guess so he could do things behind the scenes.

Oh, I forgot one. His smile/smirk he gave when he looked at YWS during bride selection and passed her over. This is not as obvious and glaring, since on the surface he's passing her over for his brother. But I did wonder, not at that moment but later (I think that scene was shown again, I'm not sure).

It's unclear if Anonymous is male or female. SGQ's Raven seemed to imply that it was after the knowledge of marriage they started recruiting Female Assassins. YWS's raven said they don't know the gender, so that would mean they weren't exclusively male before. But from what SGQ's Raven said, it would be a male.

When the assassin was hanging, we see him throwing water on her and waking her up, and then taking a cup of poison. Then it cuts off. The younger brother comes in later, looks at the cups of poison, and comments that someone had been there.

That was the most glaring. But it can be just viewed as various people investigating.

Then, when the SW was about to tell GSJ why he wasn't chosen for the SW-heir, GHY comes in at that exact time to interrupt, and SW specifically asks if he wasn't told that SW shouldn't be disturbed. (Again, red flag, but also could be just how things played out.)

GSJ was deliberately sent out so he wouldn't be present to inherit. The person most responsible for that was GHY. Someone blurry was shown approaching the assassin. That letter was meant to be found. Why would she carry that letter? For the SW and GSJ though that's not the main issue--the main issue is the information that Wu Feng know about the Eternal Fire. So even if they suspect it was planted, they still need to investigate this new info: the very fact that WuFeng know about the fire.

So all of that were there which I did take notice. But of course, you don't know if GHY was partaking in it, or some of it was just stroke of luck/fate. Plus they panned to the untouched tea of GSJ and GHY taking that seat, so you would wonder...well what would have happened if GSJ drank it, could GHY have been the unintended victim ? (It was also mentioned the younger brother sent the tea, but I didn't really believe he was involved.)

Plus there was the pin. Which I don't think we saw GSJ touch, but SW definitely did and GHY was the one who brought it.
