Yeah, I kind of want to guess it will happen in the next episode, maybe right at the end. But... then There are still 10 more to go, so I don't know...

People keep saying GSJ has his own selfish, power-seeking reasons for wanting to become SW. As if GZY has a valid, upstanding reason to be SW. He himself said mostly it's the fact that GSJ doesn't want him as SW makes him want it more and more. Then he said, he has power to investigate. Initially right after death, he did say he would use his power and investigate. But in terms of wanting to stay SW it's his dislike of GZY that drives most of it.

Plus he likes taunting too, taunted GSJ about whether he could accept passed-over brides, and GSJ upped him. Goes around accusing the other two brothers all the time.

GSJ was absolutely justified in the slap too, he slapped as elder brother and said GZY wasn't behaving his age or position as he's the one who started the physical fight. Which is why no one reprimanded GSJ for the slap.

I don't dislike GZY. I just feel that because he's ML doesn't mean other characters are wrong in feeling that he's being unfairly favored, doesn't mean he has to be the most strongest or capable, and his foe's criticisms of him aren't valid. In fact, I would actually find it interesting if they only revealed (already more than hinted) YWS to be extremely capable, intelligent and powerful in Martial Arts amongst her peers as well as perhaps even the Gong family--but GZY wouldn't need to be suddenly the big savior, strongman, most powerful. Of course he's going to get stronger, capable and smarter, but doesn't mean he should suddenly become the best just cause he's ML and suddenly becomes so much better and powerful just because he puts his mind to it.

Anyway I doubt my wishes will be granted. But still.

I love that there is kinda a battle here for which lead is the bigger asshole while i am just thinking ooooooh…
She also blushed when she first went to the new office because she was nervous, embarrassed in front of her boss. She was admiring him right at episode 1, and then blushed when he called her prettiest to him--which I think even if one isn't particularly attracted/like someone, one may blush when someone objectively that good looking says that.

But yeah, I do agree with everything you've said.

am i the only one who doesn't find the ML rude? no really, i've read comments that he is "controlling", like how?…
I only think he is is doing wrong to his gf, but that is understandable considering his situation.

I don't really think he's being horrible to FL because...lol she's responsible for the spell. Of course she threw it back at him that he's responsible for the book, but still it's her doing.

Yes, but they weren't able to figure out how it was administered. Speculation about the pin, but also mentioned GSJ may have encountered it too. Though I don't think they showed him touching it.

ML is wrong man. But I can understand it too.
He definitely should not have accepted the proposal, but he did so in order to try to fight the spell and 'destiny.' But he asked for the break to try to see if he can be cured...before the spell, and then broke up with her when even when he was not sure if he was cured, she didn't give him the space/time. So now, he is pretty sure he is okay, she says she understands his sickness... he knows his heart isn't in it, but accepts 'cause he wants to fight against the 'destiny' from the spell.

FL is doing a similar thing by trying to date SML, but she is not laden with feelings SY is, and in terms of SY it's believable because he is trying to fight the spell which he knows is not him, even though at the same time he himself is really falling for her.

If he starts to realize it's more true feelings growing and not just the spell, he really should break it off soon.

Yes and he said the people who look normal are psychos. He was a bit taken with her from the start. I hope it's not, but it does seem like they are going that way.

He broke up with her right???
He didn't break up with her before the spell. When she asked if they were breaking up, he is the one that specifically stated that no, he just needs time to work on a few things.

The break up was after the spell, though I don't think the spell was the main reason for it

He slapped GZY as an older brother in the Gong family. But, like you said, he should also have respected the latter…
He slapped as the elder brother, and gave the reason for his slap which was legitimate. Which is why no one reprimanded him for the slap. GZY wasn't acting according to his age or position. No matter the taunt, he was the one who started the physical fight. Not to mention, GZY was also going around accusing the younger brother almost from the start.

Lady Wu Ji is both obvious and too obvious
Both GHYs may have been poisoned with a combination of the tea and whatever was inside the pen, similar to what SGQ did with the bride. GSJ left his tea untouched. Either GSJ escaped the plot to kill him and the SW (Huan Yu may or may not have been included originally), or it was planned to make GSJ leave and be absent, hence GZY would become SW.

No matter what, the letter about the Eternal Fire was definitely set up to be discovered.

He doesn't know for sure, but is not fooled like GZY to fall for and believe all the set-up meetings and circumstances created by each girl to get them chosen as the wife

He knows as well as his younger brother she had something to do with the pouch. Just no proof.

Exactly. He doesn't trust her and suspects her of something... and umm it's true.

It is hinted that he is more a career oriented one. He put SQ by her side because he believes that he is a danger…
GZY himself said SJ puts Gong lineage first. To say he doesn't care about family and only power, that's not the case. He strongly believes GZY isnt worthy.

Also he is right to feel aggreived. Just because GZY is ML doesn't mean SJ isn't techincally the worthy one. Imagine doing all that hard work, killing people, not able to see dead fish eyes, proving the most capable in trial, to be passed over. And now someone who's not done a thing till now is SW. Even if drama makes GZY become stronger and more powerful cuz he's the ML, it doesnt take away from the fact that GZY has legitimate reasons to have objected

Why Jin Fan doesn't want to Join Gong Zi Yu? Have he assisted someone from the past and is traumatized about the…
The reason given is that JF knows what the challenges are (and also maybe of the aspect that if JF were to go with him, it would obviously be JF that would bear the brunt of the challenges, hence GZY wouldn't really have passed). This is all assuming of course that JF is not a plant or spy.

I only watched up to episode 6, but I do feel that FL going to help him would be cheating, even if GZY ends up becoming stronger.

I also feel that the conspirators planned it so GSJ would be gone, hence GZY would be Sword Wielder. Someone blurry was shown walking up to the Assassin, and for her to carry that piece of information is suspect--for some reason none of them wondered if it was a trap (but I guess it wouldn't matter since the very fact that WF know about the Eternal Fire means it must be investigated).

It's not just you. It's been mentioned and said by others earlier, too, but most just don't bother repeating the same thing over and over in response to all 'FL is weak' comments.

The Yu brothers have different mothers. I believe they are cousins with the rest who are also cousins to each other. They come from different sub-lineages, notice they have the lineage in their names.

It's not her knowing martial arts. She already revealed she knows it. It's her confidence alone in challenging a highly trained, elite guard.

Why is only her technique suspicious? Just her idea of duel alone should raise suspicions.
Also, GZY, considered weakest in Martial Arts apprehended her, and she is confidently challenging Jade Guard. Why wouldn't Jin Fan be suspicious from the start?
