I walked away from this asking myself if Shiba was yakuza. Because of the pulled out nails. I could understand…
Thanks. Actually, I think it is also to show that Lui, despite suspecting Shiba, still stayed with him without any loss of affection towards him. From the start, she was pulled to him more, what pulled her to Ama was the split tongue, and then being moved by his 'keepsake' for her and his devotion to her. She started spiraling when she stopped seeing Shiba even though she still had the goal of tongue splitting. And after Ama's disappearance and death, it is her guilt and grief.

This is actually why I don't think it was Shiba. It always came across to me that he cared for Ama and didn't want to hurt him and was never trying to let it slip about the affair and didn't want to rock the boat with Ama.*
The argument against this wpuld be his own admissions of being a sadist. But even then, it is iffy to me. Which is why I think it's never confirmed. Even the FL herself is not sure, just suspects. The evidence is circumstantial and not definite evidence.
Once the death of the man was confirmed, I think Ama's demise was foreshadowed. The "surprise" is that it may have been Shiba.
*until the marriage proposal but even that he was aware she wouldn't agree. It was afyer he saw her weakened and disoriented state that he says she and Ama are not a good match
I don't think it is for a fact that Shiba killed Ama. We see her suspecting It and the film also puts that possibility, but it's not for sure.
Ama was going to found by Yakuza and killed because he killed one of theirs. I think Ama never realized they were Yakuza since he didn't see the news report, so he was not worried about it. And they would rape as well.
Ama may have been bi, and she probably knew that deep within just couldn't react any other way when police asked her.
That being said, I don't discount that Shiba might done it, however I think it is never shown as definite. Even she is not sure, but she suspects and we see her suspect and suspect along with her.
If he did do it, it's because he knew from the time police asked him about dragon tattoo that it was Ama who is the perp. He's not stupid to believe her denial. He asked to see her and her state and her question confirmed it for him. He probably decided on asking her to marry him then. She just assumes that's what he wanted to talk about, but he wanted to talk to her to gauge the situation.
Strangely enough, Poj is probably the sympathetic one.
It seemed as though he and Mae were together since their teenage years, but he was forced to marry someone else with seemingly an understanding with his wife, because Mae could never marry.
Why in the world would Ah Ra still send her bf to do the photoshoot after he told her the truth about the dream?
My guess is that she wanted to test her bf (maybe not initially but def after he told her) and got her answer.
The second half is all dream or hallucination of MC, which means his second convo with Ah Ra didn't happen nor did the push.
He wakes up next to Ki Jun. He gets up, sees the photo of Ki Jun. His hallucination conjures up Jung Hyun. Later he photographs Ki Jun sleeping and accepts/decide to work issues out with him, and so we see the last scene.
Only sense I could make of it.
(The water is on the side of Jung Hyun and he never takes a sip, and and the table with glass of water is still shown at the end.)
I gave this the benefit of doubt till this episode, but how can Bai Cai be so dumb as to not piece together the Wu Geng connection regarding the new Ah Gau? till this episode I thought she had figured it out and was just keepin lg it to herself. How many times did others ask her about Wu Geng when it was new Ah Gau? She's heard enoygh tidbits from others taking to him about what he is destined to achieve, his reaction and actions towards Xin King, etc, etc. It shpuld have all come together as a suspicion for her quite some time ago.
After she told him she was a demon, and he said he had something to tell her, she even told him that he can wait to tell her his secret till he's ready. And Even in this episode both acknowlwdge that this new Ah Gau will need to be told of old memories and he can try to act as old AG but she knows it will fail. But no, we have annoying ass crying from her and it really makes me annoyed with her character.
(Also, the three of them were stuoid not to disguise themselves ehen they entered the city in ep 24, but I let that slide.)
EDIT. Okay seeing that the oracle lady is observing them both, it is possible they are putting on an act. However why isn't oracle lady suspicipus that AG/WG is not blocking her vision?
Actually what sparked everything were her actions during the hospital visit, and he indulged.
Also, she should have known better than telling him when he was that drunk and at a gathering. Should have waited and told him later. But she didn't care that much.
In the end he was probably released from his PTSD and suffering. Still, he was making an effort not to drink before her. Later he just started drinking with abandon.
Anyway, he lost everything but maybe found freedom. She didn't really lose out. She wanted him, got him, and continued on with her life.
This isn't the greatest flick I've seen, but it's pretty good. Well worth the watch.Reading through comments,…
Actually I think he was shown trying not to drink at first. He would have the drink in his hand and others would comment why he's not drinking. I think (not sure) he started drinking again after he visited her in the hospital.
If someone would be kind enough to explain the relationship/dynamic between Chairman Woo and the FL, I would be…
He mentioned to his son, WJH, that there is no use for FL if she isn't his daughter-in-law, and also is not a good investment. He couldn't have been talking about WJH as she came into his life when he was a teen. So was she arranged to marry the older son? Was she taken in by Woo family? Why did older son's wife resent her husband? Why does WJH also seem to blame his brother?
Question about episode 22, because my schedule often has many days betwen episodes so I may be forgettimg something.
Why was the oracle lady surprised at Ah Gau using the Colourless Realm to stop the fog? She knew he was in the demon realm, and also knew he had sucessfully activated his divine power earlier. So why was she taken aback?
