Title The Auditors Spoiler
I started watching this when the first episode was out, because I read the description and I have a soft spot for relationships where two people have some sort of history but they pretend otherwise in public. I didn't know the actors, so only noticed the age difference when I looked at their profiles before watching the first episode. So initially before that, when I was looking forward to this the whole week I expected it to be a slight romantic angle. But when I found out the ages, I figured it would probably be not it.

Despite the description saying she knew him since childhood I really wasn't expecting father-daughter relationship. Such a brilliant, great way of rounding out the 2nd episode. It's clear the VP is shown as a charismatic character, and YSJ has a good relationship with him. It's such a pleasant surprise and actually puts a lot that's been shown at face-value in question.

Can't these shows go without having to tease tension between ML and a female even when the ML is a Catholic priest?…
What's funny is that the characters of Jung Dong Ja and Hwang Cheol Bum have very good chemistry even though they are not supposed to be a romantic pairing. They are not even trying and they have chemistry.

Get a pair that exude chemistry without having to do silly teasing and 'honey honey' sound effects, and then if the end game is for the ML to leave priest hood--show him leaving priesthood and show him meeting up with the FL or something. (But considering there is a sequel, I am guessing he doesn't leave priesthood.)

But teasing in that manner while he's still a priest is just not needed. (I am not even going into the fact that no matter how much FL changes later on, she is shown as callous, immoral person who has no sense of loyalty or guilt, has no apparent red lines. Why in the world such a character would be teased like this with ML even while she's such a horrid person, I have no idea.)

Can't these shows go without having to tease tension between ML and a female even when the ML is a Catholic priest? If it were some drama specifically about that forbidden romance theme with a Catholic priest, that's one thing. But when it's about a crime imvestigation comedy, why do they HAVE to insert it there? Audience won't be satisified without it?

Imagine watching this thinking the show and characters would respect the fact that he's under an oath, instead end up having to watch the teasing for audience who want romance in everything.

FL is in ep 2 is ridiculous in her thoughts. What sane grown-up thinks and reacts that way?

Anyway, I have finished Ep 3 and will continue watching.

Title Come Back Alive Spoiler
Watched this show long ago and for some reason it popped into my head today... (the female gangster's last scene),…
The girl's real father had no idea that was his kid, but just to indulge ML and perhaps audience fans of actor/ML, they had FL, ML and his gangster friends (FL's brother) treat the father as if he was the one all at fault.

When he found out the girl was his daughter, he was treated as a bad guy by the show and characters for wanting to know his child. Why? He has the right, that's his kid and she is still a child. Her adopted father is dead. It has nothing to do with the FL getting back with the 2ML, but the ML's selfishness was indulged till the very end in denying the father an opportunity to get to know his child.

Watched this show long ago and for some reason it popped into my head today... (the female gangster's last scene), and then I was reminded of what annoyed me of this drama and wanted to make a comment.

This is a perfect example of a drama indulging the ML simply because he is ML. ML was a selfish person from the beginning. And even if he 'evolved' the show indulged him by making a 'villain' out of someone who didn't deserve it and wasn't fairly represented or treated.

wait so the man stays in the womans body forever??
Watched this a long time ago, but if you are talking about the gangster, no--the gangster ended up disappearing for good as he/she fell off that hanging scene

Was this really only 45 minutes per episode? I haven't watched a Taiwanese Drama in so long, but even till a few years back they were generally 90 minutes long.

I watched this long ago, but I don't remember this being different in terms of runtime.

One of the few dramas I've watched multiple times over the years. The last time I watched was a handful of years ago, then I think I couldn't find anywhere to watch it, or if I did it was not in decent quality.

Title Good Manager Spoiler
The ending was a kind of uncertain - was Seo Yul going out with Ha Kyung or not? I believe there was attraction…
I don't believe they were going out at that time. It would've been too soon for her considering he was responsible for so many of the negative things. He himself was kind of doing penance by being public defender, and he seemed to be more harsh that her who seemed to be asking him, encouraging him for a while to move on from that position.

I think it's probable that they maintained a friendship throughout that year, and it's possible that once he's back at the company at CFO their relationship could change.

I really enjoyed this drama a lot. I've been on a drama binge spree for the past few weeks and I think with this…
Also, am glad that this show made it that were there to be a possible romance, it is between 2ML and FL. Not many instances like that (even ones where it really should be i.e. Feels Good to Die). Always nice to see one like this, even though there is no romance per se.

Title Good Manager Spoiler
I really enjoyed this drama a lot. I've been on a drama binge spree for the past few weeks and I think with this…
The prosecution is corrupt in almost all levels. It makes sense that SY would go Eff it and just go for power. SY was calling on his former colleagues to do things they had done before on behalf of other corporations. Even to the end, if we take only what is straightforwardly said and shown, we see that the direct supervisor himself was colluding with SY till another prosecutor got orders to question witnesses with a line of questioning targetting SY. Then they arrested SY on what are obviously ridiculous charges, despite seeing him getting kidnapped and ignoring it to add charges on him, etc. Then we see these prosecutors throwing out various charges against TQ, Chairiman, etc etc.

Not to mention the Handler Secretary Kim was SY's former trainer.

So from all this, SY's words to Prosecutor Han saying he was sick of taking corrupt orders from the top makes sense. He decides to go this route and can't stop until he comes to a place where he gets the chance to be able to get out.

On the other hand, some of the reasons I gave above are the exact reason why it makes sense that SY may have gone into TQ with an agenda to get info. Neither chief Lee nor Chief Kim and Business Operations would've been able to take down and reveal the corruption with just the accounting proof. It is possible that SY went in with an agenda played very loose morally in the path to achieving his agenda, losing himself though always keeping the final agenda in mind. His plans include getting trust rising to the top through dirty corporate ways and KSR put a wrench in his plans.

The reason I think writers were in two different boats is because there are things that are unexplained and just left hanging. YS was told there may be a detective undercover. Sure, he could've let it go after finding out the mole YJK for CEO Jang. For him to not be suspicious of Intern Hong suddenly giving a box is already a stretch, but then we see him looking at the wire with no explanation or context. He does nothing about it till he talks with her at the police station. We see SY look at the wiretap (we later see Manager Lee inform Ms. Cho that they found the informant, so we can assume that maybe Lee told SY earlier and that caused SY to search). SY confronts GM Lee about the allocation of the slush fund amongst the players after we seem him looking at the mic. We later find out that this is recorded, which means he kept that mic in his office.

(It's also plot convenience that Hong Ga Eun never really paid close attention to the wiretap she had on SY. Even before prosecutor Han told her to stop using the wiretap, we see nothing of her finding out from SY's convos that TQ Cosmetics' money is also being siphoned off to Taipan Bank.)

The Handler guy was a trainer at SY's academy or something and SY is supposed to a very smart guy. To say he wouldn't recognize/remember him and clock that people who have connections with prosecution/government are working with Chairman and for him not to be suspicious or wary of Chairman's sudden change of tone towards giving him access is also hard to swallow. Especially considering he purposefully left the mic in his office to record his convos with Manager Lee.

Before Moon replaces Han and turns the investigation towards SY, SY keeps asking and colluding with the supervisor prosecutor regarding the case.

Anyway just needed to put my ramblings down somewhere. In the end the prosecutions and agencies are all corrupted either way.

Part of me believes SY indeed did go in there with intentions to uncover the top dealings, but lost himself in the process and so just doesn't bother to reveal it. But he was already abusing and mentally torturing suspects as a prosecutor.

I really enjoyed this drama a lot. I've been on a drama binge spree for the past few weeks and I think with this drama, my binges may now be winding down because this drama is staying with me. I am thinking about it and can't move on as quickly. I think it fed my brain what it needed.

I must say I am glad that this drama doesn't end up having romance between the ML/FL, not even in the sense of hinting that something may start up between them.

Though I would disagree with those who say SY's crush wasn't needed. The way the story is written I think his crush is what kept him grounded for the audience from the start. If the story were written in another way, the crush could've been done away with. But how the story played out, it made him endearing and somehow the actor/team just made it so believable in the way he was drawn to her and searched for her.

If anything what was actually not needed in the story were the fan-service teases of possible romance between ML/FL throughout the first half or so.

But I have doubts on whether writers were going back and forth on SY's character.

Title Crash
Why did Yeon Ho keep apologizing when he isn't the one who killed the girl? It's not his fault, isn't it? And..did…
He probably still has some guilty feeling that if his eyes had been on the road for those few seconds, he may have been able to avoid the accident differently and the other car might have swerved differently.

But I agree that it's kind of a plot hole. At the same time, I kind of get it.

Review Coffee Prince
Watched this long, long back. But just needed to comment when I saw this review.

This was such a big hit back then, but the selifshness of the FL is hardly ever acknowledged. I found her utterly selfish and his best friend was absolutely correct in how he shunned her for her actions. In the end his best friend gave in only for the reason that ML loved her and was happy with her.

But she was selfish AF in this series, going after the ML when he tries to put space between them, just because she likes him, not caring about his predicament and how she's lying to him while going after him and trying to get him to like her even while still pretending to be a guy. Only worth it for the acting of the ML, and back then it was closest portrayal in K Drama of a man realizing he is/might be gay/bi.

Title Perfect Marriage Revenge Spoiler
Just finished binging this. A good watch. Very enjoyable. A soap opera but without it being overly melodramatic.…
Dong So was wearing the wire when he was in the car with Jung Hye, going to retrieve artwork, and SDG listened to the conversation to know where they were headed. Why in the world would Dong So listen to Jung Hye and go through with the attempted hit and run. How does this even make sense? Was he really stupid enough to think he could get away with it and he could really get half the money and run away? It really makes little sense. i really thought he would just pretend to go at her but swerve at the end, exposing Jung Hye.

Or did SDG bug Dong So's car, and I missed it?

Also it is never explained what Secretary Kim's reasoning was to blame and frame Yi Joo in the original timeline, nor is it explained why he called her grandfather and let the grandfather talk to Yi Joo before her death. At first I suspected he was really working for the grandfather, but that is not mentioned at all. And even if so, that aspect is just unexplained.

Just finished binging this. A good watch. Very enjoyable. A soap opera but without it being overly melodramatic. We don't need to deal with episodes of leads being down or tricked or whatnot. It's fast paced and the show smartly kept the leads have the upper
hand.

However two things that bother me.

Is he the insider who sent the judge all that information?
Thanks. Was it ever explicitly confirmed, or we are just to assume he was the one because of the flash drive we see him hold a few times.

I have a suspicion that perhaps he did what he did in order to get insider information. But the only way it would be believable is if he was working undercover with some agency. Because if he did it on his own, one could always say he was always diligent in protecting himself and knowing when to play and how to play cards right to get himself on top (as he himself said to Pyo when Pyo's office is raided that he is not as careless as Pyo).

Of course the biggest strike against this theory is the fact that he disbanded the TCI unit. But he may have his reasons of not blowing his cover.

Happy ending ? Not a cliffhanger ?? Mark as spoiler thanks in advance 👍
Happy Ending in that the main culprits of the crimes shown in the show are brought to justice.

No cliffhangers, but enough open ended and loose threads. Either take it as realistic portrayal or maybe possible season two. Though I think those threads by themselves wouldn't be enough to sustain a season two.
