I think perhaps President is aware of SJ being HDU's niece, and planned this leak in order to limit the audit team's power. He isn't happy at how Sin Cha Il isn't bowing down to his demands.
Watching episode 8. Han Soo really needs to grow up. Geez dude, stop getting hurt because an auditor sticks to being objective and not emotional. Never complained about Han Soo before but he just stays immature.
This was such a big hit back then, but the selifshness of the FL is hardly ever acknowledged. I found her utterly selfish and his best friend was absolutely correct in how he shunned her for her actions. In the end his best friend gave in only for the reason that ML loved her and was happy with her.
But she was selfish AF in this series, going after the ML when he tries to put space between them, just because she likes him, not caring about his predicament and how she's lying to him while going after him and trying to get him to like her even while still pretending to be a guy. Only worth it for the acting of the ML, and back then it was closest portrayal in K Drama of a man realizing he is/might be gay/bi
I had problems understanding this, cause from my understanding the fairy realm started the war with the moon tribe…
It's not a matter of good or bad per se, but rather the fact that these two realms at odds. It's just a matter-of-fact that the Fairy/Heavenly Realm will be viewed as more righteous, even though they are not always so. Many Xianxias acknowledge the hypocrisy of the Heavenly Realm, but this is perhaps the only one I've seen where it concludes in a manner which maintains the strength and integrity of the demon realm, which here is the moon tribe.
I am watching this on YT. The really good quality one has mistimed subs, and the more accurate one has low quality video. I decided to go with the HD with mistimed subs.
It's nice and refreshing to see Chinese actors in a drama without caked up makeup and lipstick. It's been a long time since I saw a C Drama with the lead male actors not having some conspicuous shade of lipstick that sticks out like a sore thumb.
Ep 5. The lunch scene with the four of them where Hwang Dae Ung is covertly trying to please and make it up with YSJ is my favorite scene of the show so far. So cute.
Exactly. Someone finally said it. In sister Kim's voice: hallelujah.Their friendship/chemistry felt so forced.…
I haven't gone past episode 3. Because the fact that they are just going to play up the teasing in the future episodes just annoys me and so I haven't bothered watching more episodes.
True she is shown from the start as unscrupulous, but she is shown as ostensibly Catholic with a crucifix in her office. When a new handsome priest shows up, one would take note that he is handsome and marvel, and that's that. Instead she whips out her mirror and touches up her hair before meeting him, like he is a guy she's trying to romantically impress. It's so weird.
Can anybody explain the ending? I have seen comments saying Sunwoo dies in the past. But, how is the young Sunwoo…
It's been years since I watched this. So I am going by memory. There is no concrete explanation. Am sure there have been boards and reddits with detailed theories. This had a very cult following with people rewatching this and praising it for minute details.
I think one of the explanations was that the man the brother looks at in the opening prologue is supposed to be the older version of Sun Woo shown at the end.
I've always felt that the show fittingly portrayed a full circle. The show started with the brother, and ended with Sun Woo's 'hyung.'
Binge watched this many years ago. One of the best dramas ever. A lot of people look at it as a romantic time travel drama, but for me it is very telling that it started and ended with hyung.
But what is really the relationship between Seojin and Hwang daeung?? She is his daughter ??
She calls him uncle. Some of the subtitles of the second episode had him say 'my daughter' when he asked her mother about her, but most likely it's a mistranslation or lost in translation.
I watched the full length version. This is one of the best short-dramas I've seen, if not the best--because it knows what it is and gives good acting and production. It's cute, funny, doesn't have cringeworthy stuff, and is well done.
I will probably watch this again when I'm bored and need something to watch.
Well, people are selfish in real life as well. Since this show is about the him the other guy is also seen that…
I have no issue with main leads being selfish people, my problem was the writing/show indulging it in order to portray denying the rights of another character as justified and the correct thing to do.
This was a really nice, light watch. It takes 2-3 episodes to get get used to FL's voice. And then it's just here and there where you just flinch a little bit. But yeah, other wise it's a really nice and enjoyable watch.
I am 11 episodes into it, and I have to say this is very good and I really like a lot of their choices. However…
Another thing I liked was that the villains characters from the past have evolved in the present. Min Hae Sook wasn't going to stoop to murder in the present, and her cohort also wasn't trying to kill just for orders or money. He set up the poisoning to fail so Hae Sook would reveal the truth to Tae Ha. And the one person he really did try to kill was the grandfather due to the injustice he faced from the grandfather.
I am 11 episodes into it, and I have to say this is very good and I really like a lot of their choices. However…
Min Hye Sook hasn't been shown to be a bad CEO, and it's sad that the show for some reason still legitimized the Grandfather's wish for KTH to overtake her and be the legitimate heir.
The Grandfather used her the money she brought to the marriage for his business and made her suffer and framed her. Her father had high hopes of her being treated well when she was married off, her family wealth is what saved that company. And yes, she did a lot of wrong things, but she suffered a lot too and was cheated and so was reacting to that. Yes, she treated her son badly as well, but again she was dealt an unjust hand and she and her sone were constantly belittled and delegitimized.
I was expecting Tae Ha to step back or at least acknowledge she had rights to that company too. Instead he just thanks for all her hard work.
It's very convenient Tae Ha gets to be the CEO and giving promise of making way to managerial company if anything happens to him. In essence, it cements him as the rightful heir and any dissolvement of family run practice only happens once he can no longer do it.
I am glad though that they showed the grandfather as being the main villain. The way he was talking to his own grandchild as weeds to be plucked out--you knew he wasn't good. But actually in the end, the show just reinforced and reiterated the very essence of his thinking. Hae Sook gives her rightful shares to Tae Ha, why? Tae Ha too was close to choking and killing in emotion. His own position is because of all the dirty work those before him had done, so why shouldn't Min Hae Sook retain her rights to the company?
Soo before but he just stays immature.

I just wasnt expecting it to be that specific relationship. But I actually really like what it turned out to be.
Anyway I'm not in it for the romance and I'm not one to always want romance angle. So its more than fine with me if there is none.
