I am just guessing, and may be wrong. But you may get more people who watch anime in the C Drama pages.
Ah, I checked it out. It's anime and net instead of com. Cool, thanks for the info.

I still think about this drama, how well it tackled fate and responsibility vs love.
I just got around to thinking about this again after seeing the actors in My Journey to You, and once again I think about how much this drama showed the way responsibilities, actions and fate are important parts and not just love. I actually used to think that the initial prophesy mentioned in the prologue meant that the goddess was meant to stop DFQC due to their love story, but now I don't think so.

I am just going by what I remember since I haven't re-watched this...I might someday.

I think as mentioned a couple of times in the drama, fate can go a few different trajectories and various actions led to this trajectory of fated result. Someone had mentioned a couple of times in comments here that if CH hadn't erased Orchid's memory then their story would've been much different, but he was in circumstances where he had to do so.

Orchid changed CH's fate she saw by saving him. I wondered earlier why nothing happened to her since she went to change CH's fate knowing she would take the punishment ( I think it was death..), but then realized, well she did end up dying later so the consequence don't have to be immediate.

Both CH and DFQC took their responsibilities over love, it was just that DFQC was in a more powerful position needed to protect Orchid. One of my favorite parts is in the mortal realm on the wedding night, where DFQC says even if it means losing her he's not going to give up on getting justice for his people and she finally admits that she understands and doesn't blame him--and end up choosing the Moon Tribe.

DFQC also does everything he can to try to save both Orchid's life and his tribe's. And in this case he tries his best not to betray her life (even if giving up her love) in order to save his kingdom. He really had no other choice. (On a smaller note, Si Ming hitting him really didn't make much sense. It was just a transfer from novel to drama which made sense and justified in novel but not in drama.)

Later though I do think DFQC--once his tribe had been saved--kind of gives up his responsibilities (he was in that dream, refusing to come out) and that is part of the reason why his brother says that line at the end, when his men ask whether they should help the Immortals fight Tai-Su/DFQC.

Anyway, it probably could've gone various ways, or maybe it was always fated to be this way... which is why fate and destiny are funny little things mortals and even immortals don't and can't fully understand and comprehend.

Yeah, I thought that too that she wasn't picking up on it. Even more so, I thought it was weird that she took…
Yeah, she definitely realized that he was seriously looking at it, and she protectively took it back.

Sml did nothing wrong. He was honest with her and as nice as possible. I personnally root for ML but I also like…
My take is that it is very much understandable that he rejected her. The second time. I think because it became public he called her to clarify why he rejected her, and told her if it were not for his issues he would be happy. Otherwise he may not have felt the need to clarify that to her.

Anyway, I don't know if he liked her a little bit earlier, or never really thought about it... but I like it this way because when he loses in the love triangle he has a hand in it too, since he had a chance and he didn't take it at first, which is again understandable...but that's just how things roll.

I was on YT last night and to my surprise I saw that this had dropped, when just last week people weren't sure when it would air. XD. So far, so good, so very intriguing. Thank you to whoever decided to have 24 episodes at almost 1 hour. Yay...

I absolutely dislike this drama female lead is not even remorseful using spells on people like its a norm forcing…
As @enigmah says below she doesn't believe it at first, and as he starts to believe suggests more practical/medical solution of filtering it from his body. Once she realizes the seriousness of it, she is the one who decides to go to the Shaman, somethong he didn't think of.

I agree she was annoying afterwards, in the last parts of the episode, where she isn't revealing to him what the Shaman told her. She was coming off as selfish, and I felt that too. But it was explained with the ending lines. She couldn't bring herself to tell him those words because 1)he would not be happy 2) she herself cannot accept those words.

If not means when FL will fall for ML, within next few second SML start likes FL, what a dummy old plot........
No, she said Mr. Gong might have drank some, and SY said if he did, he probably only drank a little.

That being said, I can believe SML nay have drank a little, but SY who watched the CCTV from her pouring the water in, probabky would have mentioned that.

is it good?
Some people say no, others say yes. I'm in the camp that says yes, and was into it from the start. Some others only started getting into it from Ep 3/4. But yeah for me, from the start it's the most enjoyable drama, especially K-drama, I've seen in quite a while, maybe would say a long time. XD

Did he look at her like that because he thought that she was beautiful at the at moment with that dress or was…
Imo, that moment was similar to the moment in Episode 1, when she arrives for the demolition of the shrine. I believe he had some kind of deja-vu feeling of his past love with her, of seeing her in past life.

I also think his words about her looking pretty in the dress were his own thoughts but perhaps he would've never said them out loud if not for the potion/spell, which was in its beginning stages.

Dear gawwwd the amount of dialogue Rowoon had in episode 4 alone, daaamn. His deadpan delivery with no filter…
Yeah, that's the thing. It would've been unfair for SML to drink, not being aware, and then still have the main pair be the destined, past lovers' end game--a triangle with spell and past/love destiny.

Here, the ML is aware. So I don't see the big deal because where they go from here is with the two characters' knowledge. I really enjoy this drama. It has so many layers, past life, she holds his fate in her hands, and the spell. The spell was just something that jump started their story earlier/faster. And it doesn't even matter if it's the spell or destiny amplifying the spell, either way his behavior right now is not completely, fully, his own...but within that he and they both will discover their journey and love in this lifetime.

Title Destined with You Spoiler
He says all the time "I'm supposed to be mourning the relationship and keep low profile". It's obvious that he's…
Yeah, like I said he wouldn't have been heartbroken about it, but would've definitely kept some downtime. Because he first clarified to her that he wanted to just take a break rather than a breakup, when she first asked. I don't really think that was a deterring strategy either, because he I think wanted to see where he stood if/once he got better, probably. But her showing up earlier, he realized it really wasn't worth it. But because he cared enough to ask for some time rather than a break-up, I think he would have had some genuine time to himself.

(Of course, this all ignores the fact that he is battling a curse, and his key to getting better lies with the FL, so he would be interacting with FL anyway... soo...yeah.)

Also, bro how come in this drama the Ms Ma actress looks an older version of Lee Sung Kyun? I never noticed that before. It's not just the red hair, it's the face too!!

Notice Shin-Yu never blames the spell or Hong-Jo for his breaking up with his gf. He says the spell is not letting him have the mourning, lay low period, but forcing him to be in this puppy love phase. And yeah, I do believe it's the spell and not himself. He may not have been heartbroken about it, but he would've had some downtime to himself and wouldn't move on so quickly.

Of course he asked NY for time before the love spell, and broke up after the love spell... but he himself is fully aware of that, and never once tells Hong-Jo to take responsibility for the break-up. HJ does wonder/worry to the Shaman that the break-up was because of her spell, not not Shin-Yu.
