Does anyone else get bad vibes from 2nd Uncle? I mean he isn't going to be King, his nephew is the crown prince.🤔…
In the novel neither he nor Zhu Li are in immediate line for the throne. He is the 3rd Prince, and Zhu Li is the son of the 7th Prince if I remember correctly. The Crown Prince is also mentioned, I forget which # prince he is. The king is Zhu Li's grandfather. There isn't any fight, struggle, or conspiring for power amongst any them.
Whether that's followed through in drama is another matter.
I was expecting it to be horrible with BXS, but ehh, it's fine. Sure he did a few immature things but it was fine, it was all cleared up. I'm not complaining and their dynamic is still good. I hope the show doesn't ruin it.
They have it on this channel. Have only started watching S2 so can't attest to quality.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLphkYhy_dVTILgbulNmactvry5mFrTALk
No, it's the same show. Sorry I didn't explain it. The title is wrong, but the show is this one. They have the first season titled as My Ghost Boyfriend and the second season as My Ghost Boyfriend's Love.
Ep. 18 is a tough one to watch. I won't say she is trying to mend DFQC and his father's relationship. Orchid…
As much as much of the audience would want DFQC to kick the ball back, and probably he himself afterwards, it shows the strong writing in the drama that they didn't have him do that.
As long as communism is alive, the country will always be fcked up...how sad for 21 century
And look at that, a capitalist scheme to spread rumors in order to give cover to the real issue gave everyone their opportunity to go off on a spree against PRC, CPC, Communism and whatever else. As if U.S, West, their militaries and intelligence agencies haven't done all kinds of heinous things to movements, governments, countries, people, install dictators, religious extremists to kill and annihilate millions of people...have and still control most media and propaganda.
Probably the most succinct thing to explain and understand for those who want to and care to instead of going on about how Communism and Communist government are the most evil of all.
"Here in America you can write or say anything you want -- and many people in Cuba are very impressed when you tell them this. They are surprised when they see something like Godfather II. They wonder: "How could you make a film that says nice things about our revolution?" But the truth is, I believe, that the freedoms we have here are possible because they do not even come close to jeopardizing the real interests that govern our country. If there were someone who really came close to jeopardizing those interests, I believe our freedoms would vanish, one way or another. If there were a man, a political candidate, who was elected to office and began implementing real programs that were counter to the big interests, there would be a coup or a murder or whatever was necessary.
In Cuba they don't have even the illusion of that kind of political freedom. It's as though they're saying, "Our revolution is too fragile, it has too many enemies, it is too difficult to pull off to allow forces inside and outside to work counter it." I understand the implication of what I am saying, the dangers. But I put it to you: If they are right -- if their society is truly beautiful and honest and worthwhile -- then it is worth protecting, even with this suspension of freedom." https://aadl.org/node/200748
The text transcript says "wouldn't vanish" but on the printed newspaper it says "would"
I'm truly here to rant today, because I'm just catching up on the last 2 eps. Yanhui's master is useless mehn.…
I said the same thing when I watched that episode. Dude is a hypocrite of the highest order. At least SY is shown as the villain. What is this guy? YH-TH the issue is actually the fact that he betrayed her trust and that in her mind, he didn't really deem her life important enough. Otherwise from an outsider perspective, it is a sort of even trade. WTF does this guy think, that it's okay that SY took TY apart and for his scale to be used while he is supposed to what, accept his fate and loss of his powers? And not to mention, SY is still after him, trying to prevent him from retaking his own parts, and still trying to attack him and probably render him weak.
Like dude. Going around saying evil dragon. Go confront SY and call her evil and tell her to stop doing this crap first.
Ahhh, a shame the two FLs from this drama don't have many leading roles. They both have a more mature type of look, and it was so different from so many other FLs.
Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I only watch from there for something to watch while exercising and stuff, not really to sit down and watch. Otherwise they have many scenes with the sound removed for about a minute or so.
In terms of this drama, they did have the full season of this show but it was weird with title cards of Part 1/2, etc which I doubt aired that way. Anyway, yeah... I was just looking to watch something while exercising and it had a good storyline even if editing, certain scenes, etc were off.
Guys, I don't know if this is okay to ask here. But I have a drama I watch on YT when I am on treadmill and I have no idea what the original title is or who the actors are. It's some supernatural Chinese drama. If anyone recognizes the actors or title, please tell me... I tried searching some character names and everything, but no luck.
She's powerful only because of the HPS, and TYs neidan(core) is also within her, as per the novel. But this is…
She was a prodigy because of scale/neidan. Before she finds out about the neidan, she attributes, realizes her power is due to the scale. When she finds out first about the scale she kind of feels humbled in that she realizes her being better and being able to show off to her frenemy was not all her own skill.
After she reincarnates, she starts cultivating because she has all her knowledge as soon as she's born. But she is nowhere as advanced as she was before because she didn't have HPS/neidan. I would say it's most likely due to both.
I am not calling him stupid per se. But rather his actions, and especially the script which was obviously executed…
But it should be conveyed to the audience that is simply watching. Or, to the audience who would later binge watch, they wouldn't be able to see the discussion for each episode/arc, etc. I suppose this can be shown later in the drama that he was expecting death, but I doubt it. Anyway, yeah...
I am not calling him stupid per se. But rather his actions, and especially the script which was obviously executed…
Actually, it occurred to me that he may be reacting in seeing HXY on the ground and realizing BXY took her to the dark lord. He never thought about that possibility....which okay, he was emotional didn't think that much... but still man...
I think the issue with the drama is they should make his motivation and thinking clear, which they are not doing so. I do think they planned episode 16 that way specifically to get an online uproar.
So okay, he doesn't have to tell YH before stabbing her. He doesn't have to tell her he gave her the Nine Stars.…
I know without the nine-stars it would be 3 days. But it's not clear whether it would be still only be 3 days with the nine-stars. I think the 3 days for him is getting there before the nine-stars take effect. Nine stars is a back up, so to speak.
So he's trying to get the HPS back to her before 3 days so nine-stars wouldn't take effect.
But that's just my guess. Nine-stars is not explained yet, so we'll see.
TY is impulsive that's for sure, but to call him stupid is just stupidity at its worst. Guys, who in that situation…
I am not calling him stupid per se. But rather his actions, and especially the script which was obviously executed that way for 1) drama/misunderstanding 2) to garner attention in online discussion.
I don't hate him. I don't blame him for what he did. I only think that if his goal wasn't cutting ties as he said when he got his sword back, it is odd that he would look for her after coming back. It should've been a decision he stuck to. I can understand him not thinking through about BXY's possible actions in the thick of things. But even so, if he could say 'sorry' he could add a few more words to it.
I understand he can't tell her about the nine-stars because she wouldn't accept it. I also see the logic in doing what he did suddenly without telling her. It's just after doing it, along with sorry--logically any person who wasn't planning on cutting all ties with her, no matter how emotional, would have added that one extra line to his sorry.
Whether that's followed through in drama is another matter.
