Hahaha I also hope they unite and defeat their true enemy. At the same time, I don't think BJS was wrong for not interfering with mortal lives. There IS fate and heaven's will in xianxia. Sometimes, a mortal really can't change their fate despite fighting it as best as they can. If immortals interfere, they suffer severe backlash. If they interfered all the time then they maybe they would perish 😅

I'm sure they slept together many times and tried to pregnancy was never an issue because they used whatever means immortals use. BJS's reaction to finding out they had a child shows it was not supposed to happen. Thank you, I know what scheming is. I just have a hard time accepting her methods of revenge.

I think in this case, BJS was more involved with the mortals. He didn't seem to go out much the first time he was in the mortal realm vs the second time, he was at that restaurant everyday getting takeout food. Lin Yan basically forced BJS to become friends 😂 he had more dealings with the mortals.

I get the point and I agree there are people taking both sides unilaterally. I don't check all the posts because there are too many but the posts I have read makes it seem more people are celebrating the FL's deception and brutality. Yes ML has hurt the FL physically but FL has inflicted more damage to ML and if we can justify FL's actions by his actions in the mortal realm then why should he be seen as a villain when he hurts her when she has literally and figuratively put a dagger through his heart? And no, I don't think most of us would be swooning if the ML stabbed the FL because that would make him scum. I just don't understand why so many are celebrating her viciousness. I love strong FL like Shen Li who is strong, independent, and noble. I'm not enjoying seeing our FL using our ML's emotions for her to destroy him. Hoping the misunderstandings are cleared up soon so some healing can happen.

We don't know that for sure. How did she get pregnant? Was her powers causing her to not be pregnant like birth control so we her powers were sealed her pregnancy was allowed to form? Or would the heavenly punishment cause her to lose the baby? It could have been fate/heaven's way and the baby was never meant to survive 😜 (haha time for me to run away for copying BJS reasoning). Jokes aside, I get where she is coming from in wanting revenge. I just don't like that she's deceiving him by pretending to be nice and then backstabbing him later.

So it's ok for her to stab him then? Most likely BJS sealed her powers and left her in the mortal realm so he can take her punishment for her. When she finds out she is going to feel remorseful for all the betrayal and pain she's put him through. Are we all going to wipe the slate clean for her and say she didn't know so it's okay for her to have stabbed and deceived him repeatedly? Because if so, then why can't we feel pity for BJS for being repeatedly betrayed when he had no way to predict what would happen to her in the mortal realm?

She can hate him for what she went through because she was left alone and had her powers sealed but he wasn't directly involved in what happened to her in the mortal world. It don't think it justifies her trying to repeatedly kill him.

I'm glad I found someone who is empathetic towards BJS! I agree with everything you said. He truly loves her. His one lie when he left her in the mortal realm was meant to protect her. On the other hand, I don't feel like she's ever shown she loves him in their past and in the present all she's done is scheme and lie to hurt him.

Yes, I agree with you. She knows she is in big trouble with the empyreans after she killed the Dragon. She's smart enough to know that if she's not being severely punished then BJS is probably taking the punishment. That's why he told her he is returning to "reflect" to prove his innocence and draw a line between them so she will hate him and not look for him. He didn't know she was pregnant and certainly didn't know about how cruel mortals can be.

Yes, it seems like this was an illusion made by her. My guess is she forces him to give his life preserving pearl to her so once she kills him his primordial spirit will dissipate for good.

I agree. Even before the misunderstanding she's always done things according to get wishes without regards to BJS. She broke her promise to him many times to never interfere again.
