I caught that line and it adds a lot of weight to what Dahae did because she knows what she's risking. I'm scared for our girl.

It's the storeroom scene that changed the game for both of them. Once Gwiju heard the whole story of the fire from Dahae's perspective, he got fired up by the idea that he was finally going to be able to save someone through his time travel and that by saving her he would fix his depression, PTSD and relationship with Ina. It's magical thinking but he's desperate and emotionally stunted after years of living in the dark literally and figuratively.

Dahae's experience sincerely telling the whole story to Gwiju when she had never done so with a man before and having her story met with compassion and understanding made her realize that she did trust him and care about him and Ina and that she didn't want to continue the con any longer, she couldn't bring herself to scam this specific man and family.

So the storeroom scene was a tipping point in the relationship for both of them and it makes sense because the fire was a tipping point in both their lives, it scarred and damaged and changed them forever. So connecting through the fire is a transformative moment.

As for the mother, she may see something beyond simply the wedding that's making her think she needs to let all this play out instead of stopping it.

Wow, I'm struggling with how to react to that episode.

First, I think Gwijoo needs to lose his fixation with saving people & accept the unpredictable nature of life. That's when he'll have peace. Also I am starting to become more and more convinced he is not the one who saved Dahae or at least it won't play out the way he thinks it will. It's a red herring. They are somehow fated lovers but not in the neat and easy way he thinks they are, he saves her and poof all of his problems are solved. It's deeper and more complicated than that.

I love that Dahae confessed and now everyone knows what's going on but how will it play out in future episodes? Because she truly has been a healing force in the family. How will her relationship change with her scammer family? (scammer mommy is scary as fuck and we already know she's killed people in the past and she won't let this go). What will happen when Dong Hee shows her mother the ring that Dahae stole. Wait, did Dahae even steal it or was it her family heirloom and she's somehow related to the Boks? Remember when Ina asked her crush if he had relatives named Bok? What a weird question. Why did she ask that?

Dong Hee is losing weight and it's good for her and she's doing it in a healthy way, not by starving herself or being obsessed with her looks but because she's found a new purpose in protecting her family. I hope she and Grace continue to draw closer, I hope their frenemies relationship doesn't end here, it's one of my favorite parts of the drama.

Ina's frenemy returning the gifts was a good thing because at least she's not a thief, just jealous and immature.

Consider how the adults in the family treat Ina. Father ignores her because he's an alcoholic and the grandmother ignores and insults her because she thinks she doesn't have powers. I don't think the female lead is uniquely terrible compared with everybody else in the family

I so appreciate the people who dislike this drama because of the plotting or pace or lack of chemistry between the leads because there are so many straight up misogynists in this comment section that it's starting to make me want to poke my eyes out.

It means she wears it a lot and the lighting in her room is often yellow and she often handles yellow objects. So when you see something yellow in the drama it is usually connected to the female lead.

The FL is standing in front of the windows in one poster so I don't think it's her but maybe I'm wrong

It's possible but in one version of the poster Dahae is standing in front of the windows, so I'm not sure.

In her flashback her savior had on a uniform and hooked her up to oxygen. Did Gwiju dress up in his firefighter's clothes and carry an oxygen tank with him to the past? I mean, maybe? I'm really curious what the hell is going on.

I have to admit I absolutely cackled thinking about the won't somebody think of the children crowd having an aneurysm over that scene. I may be morally gray myself 😅

Where did you see a red Maserati? I missed it. I noticed the clocks but wasn't paying attention to specific times, I think that's going to be important later so good catch.

Grace is obviously on a redemption arc. We saw it when she helped Dong Hee after she collapsed from running too hard on the treadmill.

I think he's hard to cast well, he doesn't do well in conventional romantic lead roles. But he's so good looking that people want to cast him that way.

I love how the writers were like no we're not giving you the cute innocent downtrodden girl you can feel comfortable with, you're not going to feel comfortable with anyone in this show dammit

Gwiju fixating on the kiss was adorable and hilarious.

When Dong Hee floated outside of Dahae's window I cackled but also it means that Dong Hee not being able to fly isn't about her weight and her bulimia is a separate thing.

I love the frenemies thing that Donghee and Grace have going and I may be shipping them 🤭

Poor Dahae freaking the fuck out because she knows she's way in over her head yet still scheming like crazy to try and stay ahead of everyone was hilarious.

When Dahae's shitty grifter "mother" showed up and tried to intimidate the Bok eomma I was like pffffffffft you have no idea what you've bitten off here.

I literally cried a little when Gwiju went back and tied Dahae's shoes. They are going to rescue each other and it has me in my feels.

INA TURNING OUT TO BE A BADASS BITCH WAS THE BEST REVEAL. She's just like the grandmother she hates and that's fascinating. She's kind of ruthless about getting what she wants and fuck the rest of the family for ignoring her.

I cried at the very end when Dahae relived what happened at the school. Both she and Gwiju have PTSD and they have to heal from the trauma together and that trope is so my shit.

I think we may get a plot twist where it isn't Gwiju who literally rescued her but it won't matter because he's emotionally rescuing her.
