Now I'm looking at it male lead's power might not be as useless as most suggested. he could touch FL now....does…
In the animated sequence it showed one of Gwiju's ancestors evolving his power when he joined hands with another person, it's implying his powers will grow as he joins together with Dahae.
theyre not going to set up a romance between 12 yr old ina and her 16 yr old classmate.. right? i dont understand…
In the drama they are all supposed to be the same age. The actors playing the classmates were cast older than the actress playing Ina to emphasize how lonely and vulnerable Ina is because of the trauma of her mother's death and her father's neglect.
She's a much more complex character than we were led to believe in the first two episodes that just focused on her weight. I love her and I hope her frenemies relationship with Grace continues to be developed.
Knowing Da Hee's backstory and seeing her hesitation makes it feel a bit easier to digest. But I still don't think…
I agree with everything you said, esp. "They could have let her be a bad guy that goes through character development because she is convinced to live another way." I wish they had skipped the tragic backstory but morally grey male leads always get them so I guess they thought they had to do the same for the FL.
I also agree with your take on the kiss being "let the games begin." I described it as kissing between frenemies, they have a bond but Gwiju doesn't trust Da Hae and she's scared of him and his family while also still trying to manipulate them. So the kiss was Gwiju's way of throwing Da Hae off balance while also testing out his own feelings.
I'm not convinced that the marriage certificate was a lie, I wonder if she's telling the truth or if Gwiju will eventually make it true in the future.
she is 12....he is 15.... what's the problem ....ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Also, it's obvious that they cast actors older than Park So-yi to be Ina's classmates in order to emphasize how emotionally vulnerable she is because of trauma from her mother's death and her family's neglect. But I understand OP's discomfort, Ina is tiny in comparison with everyone else and it's hard to watch sometimes.
I see some people unhappy with the kiss because the couple isn't really in love yet when it happened but I kind of like it that way, it's kissing between frenemies, they have a bond but Gwiju doesn't trust Da Hae and she's scared of him and his family while also still trying to manipulate them. So the kiss was Gwiju's way of throwing Da Hae off balance while also testing out his own feelings.
I believe they cast older actors as her classmates to make her seem that much smaller and less physically mature.
I think it's to make her look vulnerable but I suspect she's going to turn out to be the most powerful person in the family. I love how the production thought through all of these details.
yep that's my theory. But I think Gwi Joo hasn't saved her yet in his timeline. It already happened for Da Hee…
The mother warned Gwiju not to marry his wife because she didn't see a future for them but he did it anyway. Meanwhile she's pushing Da Hae on him. So I guess it's a tragedy that Gwiju didn't listen to his mother but if he hadn't married, Ina wouldn't have been born. It's all sad and very interesting.
