She's the girlfriend and wife of the ML, the role is like an accessory but as mentioned it's important to keep working with Daylight (they're a company where even a random supporting actress can be nominated for and win Best Actress e.g. Reyizha in Minning Town, and the cast list is usually filled with best actor/actress nominees) plus after Created in China she was strongly rumored to star in https://kisskh.at/710277-oceans-time before her hiatus but the role eventually went to Angel Zhao because she was getting investigated.

Created in China is a serious/realist non-idol drama that's airing on CCTV 1 (the main OG TV channel in China lol, they have a lot of channels) so that's already great since it's hard for young actors to air their dramas on TV when they mostly do webdramas, much less CCTV 1 . It's not going to do well online because it's a business drama and these dramas are dry plus Steven Zhang isn't a liuliang, but it's still very important for Zuer to film non-idol dramas to prove her versatility and show that she's able to do serious/realist roles with less makeup (she already showed it in The Bond, this is her 2nd collab with Daylight), and act in roles that are close to "real life" bc only non-idol dramas that air on TV stations like CCTV get nominated for Magnolia, Golden Eagle or Flying Apsaras awards, webdramas do not. Her aim is similar to Yang Zi, Angel Zhao, Guan Xiaotong, ultimately they want to be contending for Best Actress or Supporting Actress regularly in their 30s and beyond like Song Jia, Yin Tao, Yan Ni, Zanilia Zhao, Qin Hailu, Hai Qing etc so they need to collaborate with top companies like Daylight to develop their naturalistic acting in non-idol dramas even if it doesn't pay well and isn't popular like historical romances.

She's the 2nd billed FL but from what I know the role only appears midway and not from the start, but it's director Li Xue & Daylight so it's important to build a longterm relationship with them if she wants to collaborate again in future (Yangzi filmed Battle of Changsha & Ode to Joy with Daylight before getting Born to Be Alive) since they are a company whose dramas are regularly nominated for top awards.

Zhao lusi isn't filming anything she's yet not able to learn text she's not fully recovered, she was Tencent First…
No worries, you don't need to apologise at all. FYI the director of Almost Lover Deng Ke is very closely related to New Classics Media (the company that holds the IP rights of Malicious Empress) because he worked for NCM and filmed hits like Guardians of Dafeng, Shen Li, Heroic Husband for NCM before starting his own company. He's named as one of the directors who may helm Malicious Empress (hope not, because he likes comedy) because of his deep relationship with New Classics Media, but even he isn't involved it's very unlikely Lusi will be casted because they won't hire an actor known for causing Deng Ke losses? He's not super powerful but he's affiliated to NCM and I just don't see them casting Lusi when she caused his production firm to halt filming and her fans attacked him.

The other one is Xu Yiruo, the agent who Lusi said abused her. She's currently managing Zhang Linghe, Li Yitong, Lu Yuxiao and I always see international fans say they wanna see Zhang Linghe and Lusi act together but that's nigh impossible given the fact his agent is Lusi's former agent and Lusi accusing her former agent means their relationship is dead in the water? International fans don't understand how C-ent works at all.

I hope Lusi leaves her agency but her contract is until 2030, plus her agency & Youku invested in Almost Lover so if she doesn't reshoot she will need to pay penalties. Maybe tens of millions or more? It's a messy situation and the industry doesn't regard her behaviour too well because it results in investors losing their money and dramas being unfinished, if all actors just stopped filming midway due to issues then nothing will be completed whether it's Hollywood or China. Thus it's difficult to convince casting directors to hire Lusi until she resolves the Almost Lover situation.

Where did I call you out like an animal? Lol what a way to twist words. I said you shouldn't keep asking when Lusi can film again on her MDL page or demanding that she take on new roles when she is mentally not ok, she's not a circus animal. She does not owe you entertainment. She's already rich enough to never need to work again and still be a millionaire for the rest of her life, you should focus on your own job and career.

Well you're posting on Lusi's page every few days asking when she will be able to film again, perhaps you need to calm down too? She's not ready yet and has a lot of issues with her company to sort out. You need to understand that instead of asking when she can film again like she owes us entertainment, she's not a circus animal. Grow up.

Not to talk down Lusi's chances but she's not going to be able to film any big productions or collaborate with big companies like NCM. She's not collaborated with NCM or other "大厂“ before that much, plus she's currently trying to break contract with her agency which she's signed to until 2030 and get out of filming the half-completed 'Almost Lover', both which require a lot of penalty fees and will damage her credibility and suitability to be a lead actress if she doesn't make restitution so investors don't suffer millions of dollars of losses. Her fans need to try to understand that investors and production companies do not see it as acceptable for actors to stop a project halfway even if the reason is mental health, because everyone's time & hard work is wasted and the millions of dollars spent can't be recouped. It's like if you are a lawyer, doctor, pilot and you fail to show up for a flight, court date, or operation and people's lives are affected in a big way, even if you say you suffer from ADHD or somethingyou won't get the trust of your company or coworkers easily again over other pilots, lawyers, doctors because that's how the working world is like. Credibility and realiability is everything when investors spend millions to fund a drama especially when there are so many other actresses who are suitable and willing to do the same job without any issues.

In any case Lusi must resolve the "almost lover" issue (pay the penalty imo) and her contract issue with Galaxy Cool Ent (i think they are affiliated to Youku and 'almost lover' is a youku drama) properly before she can return to the industry normally. Apparently her Little Courage variety got stopped in China because there were complaints about the content being exploitative of poor mountain people, and she's currently unable to get on social media hotsearches. Yesterday she did appear on her friend's shopping broadcast with her dogs to sell pet food though, so her fans can support her brand of pet food.

Well LYN fans (he has a lot more fans because he's a singer, a big liuliang who does weekly lives, does varieties, is much older, and SZE's been away for 2 years and not on social media) are basically using social media figures to attack Zuer on different platforms like Douban, Weibo, Douyin that he was the reason the drama succeeded because he attracted more people to watch the drama, that his acting was better, that he has more audience rapport so he attracted more new followers than her and deserves more credit than Zuer the 1st billed FL.

This behaviour is common whenever non-liuliang actors co-star with liuliang traffic celebs like LYN/YSX/ZLS/Dylan Wang/ChengYi/Yangzi, as long as a liuliang traffic celeb is involved the famdom will start planning online during the drama period or after the show ends on how to "kick the costar off the table" aka grab the credit for the results, or wreck the CP so most of the drama fans become fans of their liuliang idol. All liuliang celeb fandoms are incredibly coordinated, hence why for many actors it's actually a huge relief to not act with liuliangs especially male liuliang actors even if the viewership suffers a bit because their fans have a habit of starting coordinated attacks online against their costars and wanting to claim all the credit for a drama's success https://img9.doubanio.com/view/richtext/s/public/p891812514.gif (this is an old gif but it explains the behaviour of male liuliang fans whenever a popular drama ends and the fandom starts attacking the actress and claiming the actor is the reason for the success lol)

For instance there are screenshots of LYN fans (Xiao Peng Fei? He calls his fans his concubines? Lol) discussing during TPOB's airing how angry they are that he's being called ugly in contrast to Zuer on Bilibili, YouTube vlogs when he has more fans than her (of course, he's a famous singer and she's been on hiatus) and how it's best not to attack the FL until the drama ends. All of this is a huge turnoff if you are a drama fan or a Zuer fan (she doesn't do much online unlike LYN who is perpetually online 247 doing live streams or singing), Zuer herself doesn't have a big active fandom and can't defend herself.

It's confusing what LYN fans want to claim or what their objective is, he is actually a 1987er and he won't be able to do idol dramas for much longer, even if his fans claim TPOB's success was due to him & his fandom, he's not going to get 1st billed ML roles in idol dramas simply due to his age and lack of formal acting qualifications, actors his age are either taking support roles eg. Ji Xiaobing or switching to serious dramas e.g. Johnny Huang, Zhu Yilong, Bai Yu because nobody wants to see a 40yo ML kissing a 20+yo FL in an idol dramas (actually I'm not sure, idol drama fangirls seem to think this is hot when irl a middle aged man dating a 20+yo is a red flag). It's more likely that he'll be focusing on varieties, livestreams, singing than acting in the future, unless he wants to film middle aged romance dramas with older actresses.

Zuer is still the 1st-billed and the main credit for the result goes to her, plus it's true that TPOB was hugely anticipated because of her Reuters shots, that's how most people came to know of the drama. She's in acting for long term given that she was a child actor, graduated from BFA as one of the top students and is one of the few actresses in her age group whose acting is praised. She's also very lowkey in recent years (mostly because she wants to avoid trouble and being attacked online) so it's unlikely she wants to gain liuliang to fight with other fandoms. Before her scandal she was already rumored to prefer 正剧 aka serious dramas instead of idol dramas but her agency preferred her to choose the more commerical path to make money, and ultimately she's just trying to restart her acting career so it's kinda sad and gross that his fandom is attacking her acting, her unpopularity compared to him, when she's not even a rival to his career and helped him get more new female fans due to the drama being some tradwife schtick. I already feel bad for Li Yitong because she's the 1st billed FL of his next drama and she's not a liuliang too, if it does well I bet his fans are going to start attacking her and saying the ML's fans did all the work 😂 funny how these male liuliangs aren't given 1st billing by the producers 😂
